In the heart of the Somme region, nearer to Paris than Calais and close to many cathedral cities and Great War sites, it makes a superb base for exploring historic Picardy and further afield. There is lots of useful advice and information on offer from the friendly owners and simple food and drink is available from a little kiosk with outside seating. There is a large and comfortable upstairs meeting room.

Countryside setting, only 5 miles from the A26 motorway. St. Quentin 9 miles, Amiens 58 miles, Paris 100 miles, Calais 118 miles.

Local transport: Bus stop outside campsite entrance for services to St Quentin. Train station in St Quentin for trains to Paris, Amiens and Lille.

Very relaxing site in peaceful country surroundings on edge of village, a great base for exploring Great War battlefields and monuments.
