We used this site when travelling from the North coast of Spain to the Algarve.

This review is for Cáceres

We used this site when travelling from the North coast of Spain to the Algarve. The facilities were very good, with rather unique self contained toilet/shower cubicles on each pitch.and good wi fi. The reception staff were most friendly and helpful, and seemed anxious for us to see their historic town nearby. Next time we will, by staying an extra night. The site is on the outskirts of the town, and very easily accessible to the motorway. It is ideally located as an overnight stopping point when travelling between the north and south coasts of the Iberian peninsular, and also Lisbon area

Our third visit as an en-route, stop-over, site.

This review is for Cáceres

Our third visit as an en-route, stop-over, site. Easy access off the motorway, either way, via Exit 545 onto the N-630 (Exit 551 takes you through the town). The site is built in terraces, with quite tight access onto the level pitches; each with it's own private toilet/shower hut. Because it's in terraces, it's advisable to walk to your pitch first, to assess your approach (most campers seem to find that 'downhill' is easiest. The receptionists and bar-staff all speak English; and the meals in the bar were very good, reasonably priced, with delicious local wines. We're planning on staying for a few days on our next trip, to visit the historic city, so the campsite must be good.
