The site is perched on a hill top which gives delightful views out to sea and over nearby Zarautz town and beach. There is a steep but nice walk down the cliff face to the beach and along the boardwalk into town. This beach is popular with surfers. There are also opportunities for following the coastal footpath in the opposite direction,. Site facilities were fine, meeting reasonable standards. Wifi was good. We didn't try the restaurant. Would we return? Yes

Sixth visit - came first as a stop-off for the ferries; but each year, we stay for longer and longer. Great centre for touring Bilbao, Donastia-San Sebastian, & Pamplona (beware - the road-signs are in the Basque language :-) Very good, English-speaking vets in the town - check with reception for directions.
