The views of Lake Garda from the pool and from the bar’s garden terrace are truly exceptional, and there's even a private path running from the bottom of the site down the steep slope to the lakeside and on to the pretty town of Salò. Boat trips run from nearby Portese, and a visit to any of the towns around the lake, from Riva del Garda in the north to the beautiful fortified lake town of Sirmione in the south, is really rewarding. The flavours of Italy are easy to enjoy here too; just a short walk away you can go wine-tasting at Portese, while back on site a drink on the bar terrace looking out to the lake and the surrounding mountains beckons.

Run by the Van de Loo family, English spoken.

The Rally Stewards, Bob and Lyn, are lovely, friendly people who do all they can to ensure your stay is an enjoyable one. They organise lake trips, walks, fun quizzes and games as well as Rally meals in the excellent on-site restaurant, which are extremely good value. We met lots of lovely people and hope to do this Rally again.

We booked this site well in advance, glad we did got allocated a fantastic pitch on arrival, access to the pitches was a bit tight but the pitch was more than big enough and our caravan is 7.4 metres long. The restaurant was really good quality and not too expensive all in all good value for money, two shower/toilet blocks both clean and quite modern. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we really enjoyed our stay
