Fantastic facilities, a warm welcome, a village feel and the site's own winery all make for an outstanding south of France, Mediterranean experience.

It is so rare to find all the great facilities and services of a large site, while still enjoying a warm welcome and a relaxed atmosphere, the passion and care of the owners showing through at every turn. So much more than 'just' a campsite, the extensive domain feels like a little village at its heart, with the emphasis on comfort, quality and authenticity, from its genuine patisserie, bakery and butcher's counters, to the winery, where there is something to suit all tastes. On site there is even a wine shop where you can buy by the bottle, or the case, or simply take your own container and ask for a specific volume from whichever of the wine taps has become your favourite! You can even enjoy it along with lighting your barbecue on your own pitch, a privilege rarely found on Mediterranean sites. The south of France village feel is further enhanced by several large boules pitches under a canopy of tall plane trees, while the more daring will like the treetop adventure park.

Members have recommended the frequent and inexpensive local bus service that stops just outside the campsite, providing links to Béziers railway station and its onward services to Narbonne, Carcassonne and Montpellier. The local tourist road train also stops outside the site, there is horseriding nearby, and a multitude of day trips may include the Fonserannes nine-lock staircase on the Canal du Midi, Béziers cathedral, the gorges, hills and vineyards of the Languedoc, birdwatching on the Etang de Vendres, and the mussel and oyster farms at Port de Chichoulet. And did we forget to mention? the beach is across the road and down the path. Simply outstanding.

Owned and run by the Gassier family.

Just returned from our French sojourn which included 14 nights at this fabulous site on the coast. Large partly shaded and flat pitch with own water/waste outlet.Sanitatary facilities were plentiful and very well maintained(even supplied toilet paper, unusual in France!) Boulangerie and supermarket on site was excellent and wide range of supply, also a beach goods and accessory shop. Pool complex was very impressive but not surprisingly very busy. Winery on site was first class and fill your choice of container for 2 euros per litre for white, rose or red wine! Beach nearby via a direct footpath from site. Beach bar and restaurant with take away. Can not fault this site in any way, we had a brilliant stay and would recommend it for couples and families.
