    Great site for culture

A delightful little site, with luxuriant plants and trees, convenient for day trips to the mountains or the sea

Le Haras is located in this very popular area, a pleasant oasis away from the hurly-burly of the coast and run by the welcoming Gil family. The reception, bar and restaurant open out to provide an indoor/outdoor terrace looking out to the pool and outdoor stage, making the area a great focus for site activity. Wine from the family vineyard is on sale in reception. A few hundred yards away in the small town of Palau you can watch glassmakers at work. Day trips will take you to the beaches of the Roussillon coast, its vineyards, the Albères massif, Andorra and Spain, to experience all the historic sites and regional culture that French Catalonia has to offer.

Owned and run by Sébastien & Annick Gil, English spoken. Sister site to Ma Prairie (MED02).

This review is for Le Haras

We are a family of 4 consisting of two young children 8 and 4. We love this site - just far enough away from the coast to be quiet and secluded. The setting is beautiful full of shade in the form of exotic trees . The family run site has friendly staff and have lots of advice on local area and places to see. The beaches are beautiful and relatively close (15 mins by car). For a real chill out holiday the site is well equipped - pool and poolside bar are great for all of the family.
