Great, lovely, peaceful site. Great welcome by site owner.

Great, lovely, peaceful site. Great welcome by site owner. Site is well positioned to be able to get to the nearest village / town. Great pool. Facilities are good but a little old but were lovely and clean and had lovely hot water showers. The only little small disappointment was that the showers and toilets were very dark even in the daytime. There is only one strip light over the toilets and showers. This made it a little hard for to see with my eyesight. It also would have been a good idea for us to take midgey cream or deterrents as being in our camoervan besides a lovely stream, they loved to bite me.!! Great homely site with English owners, it just needs the shower block updating a little to get 10/10.

We enjoyed our stay here and loved the town of Chef-Boutonne with a magnificent Chateau and good essential shopping facilities. The site was small, quiet, clean and friendly with good basic facilities. A good base for exploring the area.

Although this is a good site for that relaxing holiday, please be very aware that some of the outlets have wrong polarity and although Stuart the owner knows this he has done nothing about it YET, I'm sure he will though. The warden is a brilliant guy and nothing is too much trouble like Stuart and his wife, if you want to get away from it all at home then this is the place for you we had two weeks of absolute bliss here and would recommend it to you all.
