Avoid this site if you like level pitches and peace and quiet!! We paid 53 for our one night here. We booked a full service pitch for our last night in France to make life easy and to be near the Ferry port. The pitch we were allocated sloped from back to front and side to side. We are experienced caravaners, have a mover and carry all the equipment to level our van. This was the worst pitch we have had to set up on in all our years of caravanning. In addition, the waist drain was in the extreme top left hand corner of our pitch water does not run up hill! It was August, so we expect sites in France to be busy but this site was heaving. It was, however, spotlessly clean with good washroom facilities and I am sure the water park was great for the many families who were staying. It is dominated by statics and touring caravans and the facilities offered seem to be second class to the needs of the statics. The whole arrival experience was chaotic with cars and vans parked everywhere so we just had to double park (along with the other arrivals behind us) until we had completed the check in process, which was thankfully quick and efficient. In short, if you tow, we would suggest there are better, more relaxed and peaceful alternatives in the area for a stopover before the ferry home and we feel this site is overpriced and not suitable for touring vans. We would have expected the Club to have done better research into the pitches available as all the ones we saw equally sloping.
