This was out first camping trip with our young daughter and we were nervous, but we needn't have been. However this campsite exceeded our expectations and the facilities were excellent. The swimming pool was particularly great, both indoors and outdoors. We also very much liked the park and indoor soft play area- a big boon if its raining. Location was good, 5 minutes from St Malo which has all the amenities you could need. I suppose the only downside would be the pitch sizes, a little tight but our 6 meter van fitted fine. Overall a great site, highly recommended for families.

This site is great for access to the port of St Malo and is suitable both as a short stop off or for a longer stay. We stayed for a few nights at the start and end of our holiday but wished we had stayed longer. Much to see nearby and good facilities on site. It was spotlessly clean and well cared for. We will be back!

Excellent location for pre or post Ferry crossing but equally appealing for longer stay.

This review is for Le P'tit Bois

Excellent location for pre or post Ferry crossing but equally appealing for longer stay. Quite narrow access and sharp turns on to pitch areas and in some case pitches were were not generous. Ours had a tree with made pitching awkward. Unfortunately it was very wet on our stay and towards the end of the main season so the pitch was very muddy. Great pool area with indoor pool and sauna as well, well stocked shop if a little pricey. Chemical disposal area poor as it was unlit and I could not find a way to turn on the water for rinsing. Recycling area well outside site at end of road!

Thoroughly enjoyed our much too short stay at Le P'tit Bois and wished we could have stayed alot longer. The staff were lovely and helpful with our booking. The toilet block was the cleanest I have ever seen! Absolutely immaculate and was very light and airy. The Pitch, although at no fault to the site, was very well worn and wet due to it being the end of season and adverse weather conditions. The size of the pitch was very reasonable, which we easily fitted our caravan, awning and car on with more room outside for seating if needed. (Pitch No.82). Everyone respected the late night noise rule and it worked well. The clubhouse was very well attended although unfortunately, we did not have the time to visit it. The Waterpark was excellent and my 13 year old son thoroughly enjoyed it until 8pm. The indoor heated pool was perfect for the entire family including babies. The jacuzzi was very relaxing my husband said. One of the outdoor pools was heated but the slide areas were cold. Would definately visit this site again and spend the week touring the area. Just a 10 minute drive from the beautifully walled town of St.Malo and the Port. 45 Minute drive to Mont St.Michel which was the highlight and perfect end to a fantastic holiday in France. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Mont St. Michel, it is a wonderful gem on the coast of Britanny/Normandy.
