It was a chilly November day but we’d promised my parents a trip to the Black Country Living Museum so a combined trip and test of a comfy, warm VW California campervan seemed in order.

2017 saw an unexpected peak in the popularity of winter caravanning, and 2018 looks set for similar success.  For many people, exploring snowy mountains or tranquil lakes in crisp sunshine makes for the perfect winter getaway.
