Elbow entertain at Forest Live

From the minute Guy Garvey and the four members of band Elbow emerged on to the stage at Cannock Chase Forest, they had the crowd eating out of their hand.
Such is the esteem they are held in by fans for their off-beat, anthemic tunes and refusal to conform to formulaic music making.

Touring a high road

One of the great things about camping holidays is summed up in one word. Touring. The ability to have a base, or bases, and then go exploring in your vehicle.
But I'm going to add another, related, word. Driving. Or motoring. Either way on a recent camping trip to north-east France I reminded myself of that feeling of enjoying a great road from behind the wheel.

Well "Yes" and "No". We found it a difficult challenge, but that wasn't with the caravanning part of it, which was much easier than expected.
