Been using this Site for 30 years. We love the area. - Mr and Mrs RC Taylor

Bournemouth is 15 miles to the south. It has a long sandy beach and large public gardens. The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum was built as a Victorian museum.

Wimborne Minster Model Town and Gardens is an exact replica of its namesake town in the 1950s.

Walford Mill Craft Centre is a converted mill. It has an exhibition gallery that includes craftwork for sale.

The Dorset Heavy Horse Centre and Farm Park is a good day out for the family.

White Mill, a corn mill, has a “rat trail” for children and is managed by the National Trust.

Holt Heath is a National Nature Reserve, one of Dorset's largest remaining areas of lowland heathland.

Edmondsham House, a Tudor mansion, and its gardens are a mile-and-a-half away.

Liberty’s Raptor and Reptile Centre is at Ringwood.

The Moors Valley Country Park has a narrow-gauge steam railway. Children can play on the items in the sculpture trail.

Go Ape! is an aerial assault course of extreme rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides.

The New Forest – set aside by William the Conqueror – is a great place to walk, cycle or drive.

A Songs of Praise service is held at the Site on Sundays in the summer.

Golfers can obtain a discount at the golf club opposite the Site.


Worth Noting

Please note that when approaching from Verwood on B3081 the site is on the right hand side, do not confuse with West Farm site. Most pitches are sloping, chocks will be needed.

Eat Local

There are pick-your-own strawberries and raspberries at the local farm, in season. The Albion Inn serves good food.
