This page contains useful information on how to use our website.
Navigation
You can use you mouse to click on the various links on the home page in order to enter other pages.
From any page on the site you can always return to the home page by clicking on the Camping and Caravanning Club logo in top left of the page.
We use four main levels of navigation within the site.
The first level has 8 main options – Home, UK Campsites, Travel Abroad, More for Members, News & Events, Help & Advice, About Us and Members' Area.
Once you click on any of these main options you will see the second level navigation for that section.
You can then choose any of the second level options and this will display a third level navigation on the left of the page. You can click on any of these items to view the page.
The fourth level navigation will appear on selected pages only. The items appear within the middle section of the webpages.
Breadcrumbs
Each page has a breadcrumb trail at the top which you can click on to go back to page within the section you have visited.
Some of the pages in our site have links to external websites. When you click on these links they will open in a new window and you will be able to return to our site by exiting the new window (clicking the cross in the top-right hand corner of the window)
In order to return to the previous page within our website, you can click on the ‘Back’ button in your browser menu bar or click the right-hand button on your mouse once and then use the left-hand button to select ‘Back’.
Searching the Site
You can search our entire site for content that you are interested in by typing the keyword into our search text box at the top of each page and then clicking on ‘Search’.
Viewing the Site
Our website has been designed to be viewed using any of the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6 or above
- Firefox 1.5 or above
- Safari 2.0.4
Printing
In order to print a page from our website, use the “Print” command in the “File” menu on the top left of your browser. The pages have been designed to print without the navigation and header images so your printed version of the page is clearer to read and faster to print.
Members' Area
Members can now login to the dedicated Members' Area.
To login either click Login found at the top of every page or click Members' Area where you can see all the items available in the Members' Area, if you click any of these you will be automatically diverted to the Login screen.
