Leg 2: Veryan to Brentons - St Austell, on the National Cycle Network
On the second leg of your holiday you will travel north from Veryan to Brentons – St Austell, taking in beautiful scenery in all directions and travelling through quaint Cornish villages.
This leg of the tour is approximately 34 miles long and will take approximately 4 hours and 15 minutes to cycle.
The quiet country lanes seem to stretch for miles, with lots of beautiful places to stop and explore along the way.
There are a number of pubs and cafes that you could stop at en route to eat and if time allows, do stop at the pretty parish church of St Colan; tucked away down a quiet country lane.
Taking you back in time to olde rural England, it is hard to believe that this beautiful gem is just a few miles from the hustle and bustle of the seaside town of Newquay.
Full step-by-step instructions of the route can be downloaded below, and the map above illustrates the route you will be taking on the second day of your holiday.
