Romford Campsite 2012

The Club has added Westlands Playing Fields in the London Borough of Havering to the portfolio of event campsites, which will run from Tuesday 24th July to Monday 20th August 2012.

The event campsite boasts 430 pitches and a popular sports pavillion on site with purpose-built toilet, shower, changing, catering and entertainment facilities.

The location is close to Romford Train Station, with a journey time of approximately 15 minutes to Stratford Station in London.

Camping at Westlands Playing Fields during the summer of 2012 will be £30 a night, based on a minimum three-night stay, and is open to members and non-members.

Campsite Services and Facilities

Excellent on site permanent facilities including:

12 male and 12 female showers in 6 rooms (4 showers per room)
2 water points
Reception point
Security staff on duty all night
On site catering vehicles providing breakfasts and evening meals
Camp shop selling a wide range of food, drinks and sundry items
Replacement camping gas bottle service
TV lounge with widescreen TV's showing all the action from the Games
Seated eating area with tables and chairs under a large tent
A regular shuttle bus service running from the site to Romford Rail Station

All facilities and services mentioned across the three sites are subject to both availability and demand during the operating period.
