All Saints Christmas Market
Venue: All Saints Church, Croxley Green, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
Date: 23rd November 2013
A traditional Christmas Market with over 25 stalls including crafts, jewellery, a grand prize draw and a tombola. For the children there will be face painting, glitter tattoos and their own tombola.
Bath Christmas Market
Venue: Town Centre
Date: 28th November till 15th December 2013
Set against the background of Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths in the hub of the main shopping area, you will find 150 traditional wooden chalets. Each one offers exclusive local handmade and unusual gifts, decorations and food delicacies. In addition, wander along the charming alleyways and cobbled streets to the boutique shops selling antiques, jewellery, vintage clothes, toys and more - everything you will need for a wonderful Christmas.
Birmingham Christmas Market
Venue: Victoria Square and New Street
Date: 14th November to 22nd December 2013
This German market is one of the best in the country and offers over 180 stalls selling a wide range of gifts and treats. There are lots of wooden chalets selling handmade crafts, jewellery, wooden toys, candles and unusual gifts, while back outside you can taste a range of German foods including sausages, meats, breads and pastries, as well as German beer and Gluhwein. There are plenty of Christmassy treats on offer too with stalls selling chestnuts, gingerbread and tree decorations. Live Christmas music is played from the bandstand every lunchtime and evening.
Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre
Venue: Angel Hill and Town Centre
Date: 28th November till 1st December 2013
Now in its tenth year, Bury St Edmunds will have over 300 stalls from all over the world for you to browse round for those perfect pressie’s. Treat yourselves to a warm mulled wine or luscious Bailey’s hot chocolate. To add to the festive ambiance there will be two stages of entertainment, a traditional fairground, Santa’s Grotto, reindeer, puppet shows and lots of free activities. There is something for everyone!
Canterbury Traditional Christmas Market
Venue: Whitefriars Square
Date: 28th November to 15th December 2013
Situated in the centre of the city, this traditional Christmas Market is set within 16 wooden chalets housing a host of gifts including jewellery, hand-crafted toys, hats and clothing. There is also lots of glass and wooden ornaments for decorating your Christmas tree and a delicious range of food to choose from - and of course no Christmas Market would be complete without a glass of mulled wine!
Chatsworth House Christmas Market
Venue: Chatsworth House, Bakewell
Date: 14th to 24th November 2013
Set in the backdrop of the magnificent Chatsworth House, home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, you will soon get into the festive spirit with the traditional Christmas market. Enjoy live music, German beers, mulled cider and gourmet food stalls whilst pursuing around the stalls and gift shop - finding all those lovely presents for the whole family.
Cheltenham Christmas Market
Venue: Cheltenham Promenade
Date: 5th December to 21st December 2013
Cheltenham Christmas market has been running for over ten years and is very popular with visitors. Set in little wooden chalets, the market offers a good range of unique crafts and gifts. Stalls already confirmed will be selling hand crafted jewellery, seasonal arts and crafts and hand painted items. There will be a great choice of food and drink available too including Gluhwein, French crepes, a delicious selection of olives and German Bratwursts.
Chertsey Christmas Goose Fair
Venue: Guildford Street
Date: 14th December 2013
Take the family on a trip to the historical town of Chertsey and their Christmas Community Fair. This one day event is where you will see a fine selection of British handmade craft and can meet the local crafts people – many of whom will take individual commissions and sample delicious delights on the food stalls. The children will love to have a go on the rides and gaze at the street entertainers.
Chester Christmas Market
Venue: Northgate Street
Date: 21st November to 15th December 2013
Traditional wooden chalet style stalls located in front of the historic town hall will really help you get into the festive spirit this year. The Christmas Market and independent boutique shops will inspire you with an array of special gift ideas. Plus, after all that shopping you can kick back and relax with a hot chocolate or a Christmas cocktail in one of the towns many trendy bars and traditional pubs. If you would like a little fun, head down to Chester Racecourse’s Winter Wonderland, complete with ice rink and fun fair.
Eskdale & Ravenglass Spirit of Christmas Gift Fair

Hexham Christmas Market
Venue: Hexham Park and Town Centre

A great opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and buy those special presents ready for the big day. The market starts at 9.00am and finishes at 3.00pm. Browse through the stalls and meet the local craftsmen and producers who make and grow the array of goods on offer. Also, expect to see Santa, who will be making a guest appearance.
Kendal Christmas Market

Meet local craftspeople and producers from around Cumbria selling their wares. Browse the festive stalls selling beautiful - handmade gifts such as jewellery, ceramics, fabric gifts and much more. Ideal for buying a few last minute Christmas presents not usually found on the high street.
Keswick Victorian Fayre
Venue: Keswick Town Centre
Date: 1st December 2013
Keswick Victorian Fayre take’s place each year on the first Sunday in December. The 2013 fayre opens at 11.30am and will showcase Santa arriving on a sleigh pulled by real reindeer. There will be many decorated charity stalls offering unique gifts, a host of street entertainment, a Santa’s Grotto, a large Christmas tree and shops decked with fairy lights - an occasion not to be missed.
Lincoln Christmas Market
Venue: Medieval Square and Castle grounds
Date: 5th to 8th December
Lincoln’s traditional Christmas market houses over 250 stalls and the backdrop of the cathedral and castle provide the perfect location to do your Christmas shopping. Sellers have an array of gift ideas including handmade toys, craft items, clothing and accessories and of course plenty of tasty food stalls to tempt you into treating yourself too!

Moffat Christmas Festival
Venue: High Street
Date: 1st December 2013
For one day only the High Street is converted into a Christmas wonderland with a street market, craft fair and entertainment. The highlight is of course the arrival of Santa’s at 2pm on his way to his grotto at the Town Hall. The day is rounded off with the turning on of the Christmas lights at 5pm.
Oswestry Christmas Live
Venue: Oswestry town centre
Date: 6th December
Oswestry Christmas Live takes place on Friday 6th December when the shops and indoor market with Santa’s Grotto will open late. A great place to buy unusual gifts from independent shops and the outdoor Christmas Market will have lots of craft stalls. Local Brass Bands and choirs will provide the seasonal music and as an alternative to shopping the Ice Rink will be bigger and better than before!
Plymouth Christmas Market
Venue: Armada Way and Cornwall Street
Date: 14th November to 24th December 2013
Plymouth will be transformed into an enchanting Christmas wonderland, with traditional European-style market stalls offering a whole range of wonderful gifts. The choice is endless, from handmade arts and crafts to jewellery and clothing, the Christmas Market is a great place for buying something a little unusual to give to your loved ones this year. Stall holders will also be selling festive food and drink, with hog and turkey roast’s batches, cheese and chutneys, Bratwurst, mulled wine and more.
Ulverston Dickensian Christmas Festival
Venue: Town Centre
Date: 23rd and 24th November 2013
Savour the wonderful atmosphere of a traditional market town in the Dickensian era. The cobbled streets with specialist shops, great pubs and cafes along with the Christmas market provide lots of inspiration for unusual gifts and festive food ideas. There will be an enormous variety of free entertainment - from the traditional fairground, brass bands, costume competitions, horse drawn carriages, and balloon modelling, to music and dancing. Get into the spirit of the occasion and go in costume and enter into the period dress competition with the grand parade around the town taking place on both days.
Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre
Venue: Worcester City Centre
Date: 28th November to 1st December
Worcester’s Christmas Fayre has been running for 20 years, and you are invited to embrace the Christmas spirit among its atmospheric streets where you can enjoy stiltwalkers, a Victorian carousel and the sounds of the barrel organ. Stalls on display include local arts and crafts, festive gifts and food from around the world. The market takes place within the high street, with all Worcester shops also open so you can treat yourself and friends and family in the unique boutiques or high street chains.
York St Nicholas Fayre
Venue: Parliament Street, St Sampsons Square, Coppergate and the Guildhall

St Nicholas Fayre is one of the most popular Christmas markets in the UK. The Fayre offers a range of specialised gifts, crafts, and the very best in local farm produce. You will find ‘Made in Yorkshire' artists and crafters from around the county. The magnificent medieval town provide a wonderful backdrop, with live crafting, mulled wine and costumed stall holders adding to the festive atmosphere.
