Roundhill Campsite

In a beautiful setting which strikes a nice balance between woodland and open heathland, this spacious site is the perfect location from which to appreciate the New Forest.

A Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award winner, Roundhill caravan and camping park has many hidden corners and enclaves and you’re welcome to pitch where-ever you like. There’s even a separate field that can accommodate large groups of up to 80 people.

Here the kids will enjoy a real ‘back to nature’ experience with wildlife including donkeys, cows, horses and ponies freely grazing on the site.

To help you get the most from the forest, Ranger Activities are available during high season and fishing is available for both adults and children from mid-June onwards.

We want to share with you our eight top reasons why we think a fishing holiday in the UK is particularly special.

The sites also gives easy access to the cycle paths that criss-cross the forest and site wardens can even arrange and deliver your bike hire for you.

There is no electricity here, but there are ample toilets, shower blocks and washing-up facilities.

The nearby village of Brockenhurst is close enough for all the family to cycle to. It has all the shops and amenities you’ll need including several little cafes and a camping supply shop.

Nearby attractions include Furzey Gardens which has a rare plant collection, Longdown Activity Farm, The New Forest Reptile Centre, The New Forest Wildlife Park and the National Motor Museum.

Note: From 28th August to the 2nd of September, the Highways Authority will be undertaking works on local roads. Please note that regardless of general signage you may see, access to the campsite site is still permitted to campers.
