If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday in a stunning location and you really want to immerse yourself in nature, Beddgelert caravan and camping park is the perfect location.
From the moment you arrive, with the river Colwny running right through this picturesque site (which makes it naturally attractive to wildlife) you’ll start to unwind.
Here you’re in the 70 hectare Beddgelert Forest so walking and cycling is must. Choose from an easy stroll along the river bank or to explore an array paths and forest trails or (for the even more adventurous) the slopes of Snowdonia are just a short distance away.
You can also walk to the lovely village of Beddgelert which is just a mile away. It has a number of pubs, a restaurant, a cafe and several craft shops.
For days out, the Welsh Highland Railway, the UK’s longest heritage steam railway runs right past the village and there’s also the area’s most famous feature, Gelert’s Grave, which honours the legend of the ‘faithful hound of Beddgelert’ and gives the village its name.
The onsite shop sells groceries and camping equipment and dogs are welcome. Toilets and showers are available, along with electric hook-ups.
