Ardgartan Campsite

Ardgartan is no longer taking bookings for camping. However, we would love to welcome you at another Camping in the Forest Site in Scotland, at Cashel, Cobleland or Glenmore.

Sitting right on the shore of Loch Long, the award-wining Ardgartan caravan and camping park is situated in a truly idyllic location.

With the magnificent mountains of the Argyll Forest Park rising up behind you, you’ll find this site an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful scenery of western Scotland by whichever means you prefer; walking, cycling or by car.

For the more adventurous hill walker, Ardgartan is on the main route to Oban, with routes up Ben Arthur. There’s also several other Munros (mountains over 3000ft) on your doorstep.

Holidays are about relaxing as well, and there’s nothing better than putting your feet up by the loch with its stunning views and the gently lapping water. The long beach at the side of the site also makes this an ideal spot to try your hand at fishing.

There is a cafe and a shop on site along with ample toilets and shower blocks; you’re also welcome to bring the dog.

In high season, there's a variety of Ranger Activities available which all the family will enjoy.
