The Beaches

Sennen CoveSennen Cove beach is Cornwall's most westerly surfing hotspot. With lifeguards on the beach in the spring and summer ensuring there are flagged areas for safe bathing it is a great spot for families to spend a day at the beach. Surfers can also enjoy the excellent surfing conditions this beach offers.

Along the seafront of Sennen Cove beach there are also a number of restaurants, cafes and watering holes to provide food and refreshment for the beach goers. There are also some shops and galleries to meander around whilst taking a break from the beach.

The beach can get very crowded during the peak summer periods, due to it's popularity with surfers and tourists and the fact that the cove is protected by the winds from the Atlantic by The Pedn-men-du.
