In July newspapers and television news channels gave extensive coverage to a coach crash that killed nearly 30 Polish pilgrims.
Perhaps one of the few good things to come from this terrible tragedy is that the French Government have published a map showing all the known blackspots.
In their covering notes the Government suggest that these roads are specially dangerous to motor caravanners and caravanners.
The map is supplied below as a pdf. Please note that the blackspots are indicated on the map by red stars.
Although the title of the map is in french the content is self-explanatory.
