You can use your card to pay for all your expenses abroad. Up to €6,250 can be held in a secure online eccount ® so it can safely be moved onto the card by text, via the internet or by phone, as and when you need it. You even get free text alerts sent to your phone when your card balance is low and needs topping up.

*Free in the UK but some banks will charge €1.50 for withdrawals that are under €50. This is subject to the bank ATM provider . As the card is a Euro card using it outside the euro zone will mean that a second exchange rate will be applied on transactions or cash withdrawals.
**This new and exclusive card can be ordered through Carefree T ravel Service. We ask for a £10 deposit to order the card, which is then refunded if your first single load is £450 or more.
*** The Prepaid Card is an electronic money product and although it is a product regulated by the Financial Services Authority, it is not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. No other compensation scheme exists to cover losses claimed in connection with
the Prepaid Card. This means that in the unlikely event that Newcastle Building Society becomes insolvent your funds may become valueless and unusable and as a result you may lose your money.
