Driving abroad

Mainland European electricity supply runs at 220V, which is 10V lower than in Britain. With a reduced voltage the output of power is also reduced, so appliances will generally not work so efficiently.

Calor Gas and Supergas are not available in mainland Europe, so either carry sufficient gas to last for the duration of your stay

Most sites have been created in the existing natural landscape, so pitches are often not perfectly flat or even.
