Camping in Italy
Whatever you want from your next holiday, camping in Italy has it all.
Landscape – Well it doesn’t get more varied than this. From the dramatic Alps, to the rolling vineyard covered hills to the Mediterranean and Adriatic beaches, Italy’s long, boot-shaped peninsula covers over 116,000 square miles.
Art and Culture - From the ancient Roman, Etruscan and Renaissance times through to the vibrant buzz of modern Italian cities, Italy is famous for its rich and varied culture.
Food – Ah, now you’re talking! Italian cuisine is one of the world’s best. Ingredients and dishes vary by region but, delicious and traditionally prepared pizza, pasta, lasagne, risotto, ravioli and many others are widely eaten. And there’s also the wine, and the beer and the coffee…
People – The Italians are famously family-friendly, demonstrative, passionate and great lovers of life. Tourism plays an important part in the Italian economy, so you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome.
When camping in Italy, our five Club selected sites at Weekend, Ca'Savio, Norcenni Girasole, Park Albatros and I Pini Family Park are all maintained to high standards. Locations include Mediterranean and Adriatic beaches, the edge of Lake Garda, a lively family site in Tuscany and a great family site with a shuttle service into near by Rome.
