The market towns of Chesterfield, Suttonin- Ashfield and Mansfield are all within easy reach.

The Teversal Trails Visitor Centre is a great starting point for many walks, following former colliery railway lines.

Teversal Manor has lovely gardens which are now open to visitors.

Hardwick Hall is owned by the National Trust. Its amazing textile collection is on display.

Crich Tramway Village near Matlock is a period village, home to the National Tramway Museum.

The Peak District’s oldest attraction is The Heights of Abraham. It has underground caverns, woodland paths and breathtaking views.

Sherwood Forest has a Go Ape high wire forest adventure course.

Clumber Park is excellent for walking and cycling.

The former home of the poet Lord Byron, Newstead Abbey, was originally a priory.

Chatsworth House is one of Britain’s best loved stately homes. It starred in the film Pride and Prejudice.

The National Watersports Centre offers white water rafting, wake boarding, water skiing, sailing and more.

In 2005 Teversal was awarded gold in the Enjoy England Excellence Awards and named Caravan Holiday Park of the Year. In 2007 Teversal was also voted MMM magazine readers Club Site of the Year.


Eat Local

The Site shop sells local free-range eggs and bread. It also has sausages, burgers and other barbeque meats, all produced locally. Hardwick Park Farm is open every other weekend and sells lamb, beef and rare-breed pork from locally reared animals.

Worth Noting

There is a six-berth holiday caravan to let. To book call 02476 475326. This site has a well stocked shop selling newspapers, fresh bread and camping supplies. Car hire available. Wireless internet access on this Site.

There are only Club Service/Super Service Pitches on this site. Therefore the relevant fee per night applies at all times.
