Alton, The Star Club Site
, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST10 3DW. - Enjoy the thrills of Alton Towers and beautiful Peak District from this Club Site.
The Peak District National Park is right on the doorstep of our Alton, The Star Club campsite. This attractive, well maintained family-friendly site is perfectly placed for Alton Towers theme park – just a mile from site. Similarly those who enjoy heading off into the great outdoors will not be disappointed with some great walking country right on the doorstep.
A bus stop right outside the site will deliver you to Alton Towers and its host of family attractions, ranging from adrenaline-fuelled roller coasters through to gentler rides for little ones, in minutes.
Carsington Water and Visitor Centre, north east of the campsite, offers a wide range of activities for all the family on and off the water including miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore, a children’s play area, fishing and many water sports.
While Stoke-on-Trent may not be an obvious tourist destination you can see the Anglo-Saxon treasures of The Staffordshire Hoard at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery here. There’s also the Wedgewood Visitor Centre full of artefacts, some dating back to Josiah Wedgewood – the man who started the pottery industry as we know it today.
Ready Camp is available at this campsite. (Please note that, although we welcome dogs on this site, in the interest of all guests we do not permit pets to stay within the Ready Camp tents).

Setthorns - New Forest
, New Milton, Hampshire, BH25 5WA. - A true back to nature camping trip
Pitch amongst the pines and oaks of the beautiful forest setting at the Setthorns campsite. There is an abundance of wildlife in the New Forest and the relaxed atmosphere means most will have little fear coming close to the campsite; campers at Setthorns can expect to see a number of New Forest ponies and maybe even some deer. There is an array of activities to get involved in while staying at this campsite including cycling and walking through the New Forest or visits the nearby seaside resorts of Barton on Sea and Bournemouth. Nearby attractions include the New Forest Reptile Centre, Hurst Castle and lighthouse and the Red House Museum and Gardens which is a must see for archaeology or geology enthusiasts. Close to the villages of Sway and Brockenhurst, there are plenty of restaurants, craft shops and pubs to keep everyone entertained. Please note: It is essential that you bring your own chemical toilet. There are no shower or toilet facilities on this site.
