This is a great site made so by Greg and Karren.
The welcome and help from them makes this the most friendly site I have stayed on.
The site is immaculate with good facilities. This was our second visit after visiting first last November.
We shall be back again very soon.

Ideally placed to visit lovely Suffolk villages and Karen and Gregg make it a very relaxed site on which to stay. Gregg even smiles when he has to stop his work and help tow a motorhome off a soggy grass pitch.
Lesson - stick to hardstandings, the weather can change quickly !
Thanks Gregg.

What a beautiful little site, it can't be faulted. Karen & Greg are friendly & very helpful. The site is beautifully kept, the facilities are modern (complete with under floor heating!) & immaculate. The surrounding countryside is perfect for a nice walk or exploring by bike (as we did), there is also a good pub just a stones throw away serving excellent home cooked food. This site is only about a 90min drive from where we live so we will definitely be regulars here!

A Club site that raises the standard for others to follow.Unusual for the club to have a site with individual pitches with hedges or scrubs either side, typical of french sites.
Site managers very helpful and Greg made an easy job of reversing onto pitch.
Walked to the Cock Inn at Polstead by using 10p walking map from the
site office and had one very large meal there .
Visited Kersey,Lavenham,Boxford all picturesque villages no more than 10 miles from site.
There is backgound traffic noise but only at peak periods.

A pleasant site with good facilities and friendly staff.
Perfect if you enjoy walking. The number of bluebell leaves peeping up in the woods bode well for a super display later.
The Brewers Arms pub a short walk up the road provides good food.
Well worth a visit especially with a spaceship parked next door. (watertower)

I have rated this camp as 5 all round, but in fact it deserves a 10. I cannot fault it at all. The layout, toilet / shower facilities, flowers / shrubs, shop are excelent and the Wardens / Owners, Greg and Karen just can't do enough or you.
We have stayed many times at this site now and will be back as soon as the weather breaks.

We've stayed on sites all over the UK and Europe and have always looked forward to returning to Polstead. We were here the day Greg & Karen took over the site and we have seen a vast improvement over the last few years. Their warm and friendly welcome, helpfulness throughout and their attention to detail has never faded. It is a perfect base from which the Suffolk countryside can be explored. We shall return!!!

If you like to be woken early every morning whilst on holiday to the sound of cockerels then this is the site to you, however if you don't like to be woken by banging (there is a garage or small unit beside the field where we were pitched) then you may want to rethink. This site is very clean, but seems to be miles from everything so be prepared to fuel up. Also this site does not cater for families with slighty older children - apparently noise 'spooks' some of their older customers, so unless your teenager likes to be tucked up in bed before 9.30pm on a summers evening you may want to reconsider. Don't bother with the fish and chips - they arrived late, they were only just hot, were very greasy and overpriced. Would suggest this is a site for the more mature camper who wants complete peace and quiet and is happy to stay put. Overall we were disappointed with the site so we left early.

Fish and chips delivered to your door on a Saturday night! That is being spoilt rotten. I like it.

We stayed here for our first night in our new campervan, and very nice it was too. Due to all the rain we were asked to parked on the gravel road next to the pitch. The pitch was flat and the area was clean and tidy. The showers and toilets were tip top with lots of hot water. We booked the site as they had a play area, but it doesn't have an awful lot for the kiddies to play on. All in all very nice. And thanks to the owners for lending us a longer hook up lead.

We enjoyed our stay at this site and were made very welcome. The site has been kept immaculate and, despite overnight heavy rain on some days, the hard standing pitches never flooded. The nearby road did create some noise at certain times of the day but it didn't disturb too much. Even the local cockerel didn't disturb our sleep!
We will certainly make a return visit next year.

Karen was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I don't thnk we met Greg. The site is absolutely amazing. well laid out with lovely pitches giving you a level of privacy. Close to a pub/restaurant which served good and reasonably priced food. Bus stop close by 5 mins walk. Time table on site which was helpful. facilities were exceptional. Wifi a real bonus free with a donation towards flowers which I was more than willing to make. Some road noise only to be expected as a road runs past the site. this did not spoil anything for us and a small sacrifice to make for such a wonderful site and location. I plan to return with the grandchildren as I'm sure they will love the play area and free range chickens. Thank you Karen and Greg for creating such a lovely site. We will return as long as we can get booked in. Five stars for everything.

Just returned from our first three night stay at the site and will definitely stay here again.
The shower/toilet block was immaculately clean and warm and the whole site was extremely well maintained. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. The bus stop is in easy walking distance of the site entrance as is a very pleasant pub so a car is not essential but may be useful for visiting more distant attractions.

Overall this was a very good site, clean and well maintained. Our problem came with booking. We couldn't book in advance as only one night's camping was available and it wasn't possible to pre-book this. We were asked to ring on the morning but when we did we found the answer phone was on. Unfortunately it was left on all day. We left a message asking to be called back. No-one rang. We trusted to luck and turned up about 5pm. The answer phone was still on and it was obvious by what was said that no messages had been picked up all day. We appreciate that August is a busy month but if your only option is to ring on the day at least messages should be picked up. We rang C&CC but they couldn't help. The person who answered the phone at Polstead on the day I made the initial enquiry was very pleasant and helpful. Just a pity that the system didn't work.

Lovely site, tucked away and quite rural. Warm welcome and we were shown to our ptich and directed onto it. Very helpful and made pitching very easy. We had great weather. We walked to the Brewers Arms pub (5 mins) great little pub. Simple, good value pub grub. The only complaint, and this ruined our short trip, was the noise made by cockerels every morning. We had hoped for a lazy break and hadnt planned to get up early on any day. Every morning from 5 am the cockerels (there were at least two of them) started crowing. And they kept on. It was impossible to sleep through and realy did ruin our break. I did ask at reception if there was a local shot gun rental company as I would have dealt with the problem. It was when I was asking about the shotgun that I found out that one of these creatures lived on the site! Thought I might get a chance to run it over but didnt. I know a break in the country does have things us townies dont have. Tractors, cows, sheep that sort of thing but these noisey creatures were awful. The other moan was that the person who used the small holding behind our part of the site, decided, on the sunniest day of the week, to embark on some construction work that included banging some large piece of metal for hours and then using a chain saw.(Thought he might have been making a sound proof cockerel house, but he wasnt). We had hoped to loaf about in the country sunshine on the site, but couldnt stand the noise and had to go out. Such a pity for such a tidy, well kept site. Had we known about the cockerels we would not have stayed here, our leaisure time is limited and precious and to come back exhausted because of interupted sleep leaves a bad impression.

We had been staying at a site without electric hook up immediately prior to going to Polstead, & as both our phones were out of power we could not call the site prior to arrival.
On arrival at Polstead we were told that the site was fully booked with the Exception of one pitch which was closed due to its liklyhood to flood. We understood that & I told Greg that if we could pitch there we'd risk it. during the torrential downpours that ensued for the remainder of our stay, GREG,Chis & Karen were wonderful at baling & pumping out the flooded awning space. All the facilities were clean & operative & my wife & I cannot thank all the staff at Polstead enough for turning a potential disaster into a happy occasion. WE HAD FUN! VERY WELL DONE!!!!!

We would like to thank Karen and Greg for fitting us in for 3 nights at very short notice. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the site and the efficient way the site is run. We had a very warm welcome after a tiring drive to Polstead. Even though we were late arriviving, we were given all the info required. The site is very well laid out and extremely pretty with well kept shrubberies creating private areas. The area is beautiful with nice walks from the site. The only small annoyance was the noise from the busy road which ran close by the particular area that we were in. This may not be a problem in other parts of the site. We would certainly go to this site again and would recommend it to others.

Just returned from a 3 night break with beautiful weather. What a lovely site, was welcomed by Karen as soon as we got out of our car and she showed us right to our pitch, allowing us to choose. The showers are just fantastic, something like you would have in a hotel, more your own wetroom than a shower! Everything was spotless at all times. We have just returned from this wonderful campsite. The owners of the site were friendly and polite and very helpful. We were in the smaller of the areas surrounded by trees. It was all neat and tidy and well looked after.
The heated toilet/shower block was excellent and a big welcome with the cold, wet and windy conditions we were having for June!! They were very clean, modern and excellent. One day there was a little problem with one of the ladies showers, it was reported and they came out straight away to mend it. The disabled/family shower and toilet facility was again excellent. We used this as a family with my young daughter.
There is a small shop in the reception block. It sells all the essentials. The rubbish was located near the owners house with all the bins clearly marked for recycling, bottles, etc.
There are many things to do and see in the surrounding area. We visited a couple of National Trust properties Ickworth House, Sutton Hoo and Melford Hall. All were very interesting and were about 30-45 minute drive away. Also visited Colchester Zoo (again about a 40 minute drive). Very well laid out and plenty of play areas and seating areas for picnics inside and outside.
There is a Coop in Hadleigh but Sudbury has Asda, Waitrose and Tesco.
We also went to The Brewers Arms pub at the top of the road for dinner on a Wednesday night which was steak night. They do different value meals during the week at £5.95. It was good value and quality, pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. There is an outside eating area (if you get decent weather for a change!!) and also a childrens play area.

Back again for 2nd visit. 1st visit was in april. just me and the wife for a sat to mon break as it was our anniversary.
we love coming to the site as each pitch is surrounded by a hedge and it makes you feel secluded. not all parked next to each other like a car park.
the toilet and shower facilities are so modern and clean. we met some people from last time which was nice and like a reunion.we are trying to book our main holiday in the lake district but cannot find anything that matches the polstead site. my wife towed the caravan for the 2nd time and she was worried she would feel awkward but greg made her feel at ease and helped her reverse in the pitch like he does everyone. will be back again. if anyone can find a site that matches this polstead site in the lake district then please feel free for site names. we lost count how many caravans and motor homes arrived while we was staying,so proves what a popular site it is. as arniesays ill be back. thanks again greg and karen for a relaxing break

Another lovely stay at Polstead (our third in the last couple of years). We stayed over the Jubilee weekend with 2 young children and were made to feel very welcome by Karen and Greg. We arrived at a very busy time on the Saturday lunchtime and they were most helpful, showing us us to our pitch in the camping field and checking we were okay later on. The field we pitched on is a small secluded grass field adjacent to the central part of the site). The facilities (showers etc) are excellent - very modern and clean. There is a trim trail which our children enjoyed. There is a pub a very short walk away which we enjoyed visiting on the one wet evening! We are really looking forward to our next visit.

Our second stay here and we had forgotten how good this site is. We had a nice welcome from Karen - we had booked 1 night at late notice but were offered an upgrade to hard standing with electric which was just what we wanted. Greg helped by providing helpful tips for reversing - thanks! Toilet and shower block were spotless and the pitch allowed privacy with low bushes either side. My only tiny niggle would be that the toilets are shut for cleaning a bit too early (@ 10.15 for gents and 11.15 for ladies) - would be better if they were cleaned after 12 when people have left to go home. Great site though and we hope to visit again soon.

We went to polstead for a monday to friday break and found that the site was fantastic, friendly staff, spotless grass and flowers and shrubs, VERY CLEAN and modern toilet and showers facilities, near the main road but no problem it only brought you back to realilty that you was not in a another dimension lol. hadleigh is a lovely town with a shop called partridges that was like a alladins cave full of non food items from kitchen ware to garden accessories, kersey was a lovely little village with a ford running through the main village and very quaint, sudbury was a nice little town to visit.will going back for lots of visits as close to home but far away to feel like on holiday. top marks to the site owners for the hard work they have put into site and we will be going back to meet up with some other caravanners that we met while we was their.

What a gem of a site. After a warm welcome we were asked where we would like to put our campervan. We chose to be near the toilet block and reception area as it was more convenient for us. The site is imaculate and the toilets are better than some of the hotels we have stayed in. Under floor heating, how warm was that, plenty of hot water for washing and showering and so beautifully kept. Also plenty of hot water to wash up and a small laundry with dryer and washing machine. There is a small shop at reception where you can order your paper each morning from and a van comes on Sundays around 9:30am. The pub on the main road is clean and the food good and very reasonable. If you fancy a nice walk to Polstead go through the woods, covered with bluebells this time of year and have a meal, snack and drink at the pub. Very good food. As we were at the site over Easter we had a hunt the eggs and on each egg (cardboard) was a written question. There was a box of chocolates for the winner (we won with another guest). Very enjoyable and it goes to show that an effort was made to make everyone part of the site. The bus runs from the main road Sudbury one way and Ipswich the other way. Ipswich is around a 50 min journey as the bus goes into Hadleigh first but with a free bus pass it was worth it. We enjoyed our stay and will return soon.

Living in Polstead myself I don't usually pick a site on the doorstep but here I was. The site is Great, its interesting and not your usual boring wide open spaces. Its a fantastic site to choose for Constable Country and the wealth of history around here, not to mention the superb walks to be had (some of which are offered by the site in the form of leaflets). If you love woodland, don't miss out on Dollops Wood (1/2 mile away)in Spring, for then you'll be blessed with Blue-Bell time. The wood is carpeted in blue and is a site for sore eyes. Anyway back to the site. Great site, but my only negative is that for me its a bit overcroaded meaning it feels a bit like the site is packing vans in to its max. I'm more use to CS's were there's more space to spread your wings. My other complaint is that when my wife turned up to meet me, she couldn't find me, despite it being a small site. The reason being was that the bottom field I was in (with the playground) was not sign posted at all. The reception was closed so she couldn't ask anyone where I was. So that point needs to be addressed. But overall, 4* rating. Hope it goes well for the owners.

What a gem. On arrival at the site, Karen came out to greet me unprompted. The welcome was very warm; I was shown a selection of different pitches and invited to chose one which best suited me. The location of all the facilities was clearly explained to me and I was offered a morning newspaper.
On site, I was near to the facilities block so the loo, shower, CDP and waste water were only a few yards away. The standard of the showers and toilets was outstanding, more in line with what you would experience in a hotel rather than a campsite.
Noise was at a minimum - it's not the sort of site that attracts "revellers", some road noise was present from the nearby A1071 although this was not obtrusive. A cockrel crowing woke me up on the Sunday morning and reminded me I was in the countryside!
The surrounding area has some stunning views and plenty of places to walk and cycle.
All in all, this is a superb site in a picturesque part of the country. The C&CC should be doubly proud of the site and its hosts; it will be my pleasure to return at a future date.

We intended to stay for a few days but the combination of good weather and an excellent peaceful site led us to stay longer. It is always great to receive a warm and friendly welcome, and this, coupled with excellent facilities in a really pleasant area with plenty to see and do, mean we definitely want to come back. As motorhomers, we appreciated the good design of the Service Point, and we made good use of the local bus service. The walk through the woods to Polstead is also a pleasant diversion.

From our own perspective, this site was ideal. We were able to leave our motorhome on the site and visit the local area by bus using our bus passes. The bus stop is 100 yards from the site entrance. Buses run to Sudbury in one direction and Ipswich in the other direction. From these points link buses run to Lavenham, Colchester and many other places. There are lovely walks from the site with maps available in the site shop. We booked for 5 days and stsyed for 10. We had no complaints at all and will certainly return.

This is a site where the owners have taken the best practice for design and customer service and put it all together in one place. The welcome and help is excellent. The site and local information sheet is comprehensive. Positioning the van with Greg's support is completely stress free. The toilets and showers are among the very best we have used on campsites at home and abroad, free wi fi (for a donation to the flower fund) is most welcome. On top of all of this, the location is great, there are lots of places to visit and things to do in the area. We will certainly be returning to this site for short breaks.

Brilliant site. Very clean and well laid out. The site owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and all the services and amenities you could need are provided even down to individual sachets of washing liquid to put in the machine rather than buying a whole box for one wash.
Really nice showers and toilets and apparently there's free wifi but we couldn't pick it up from the far end of the campsite where we pitched. If you really need wifi, ask for a pitch close to the office and it should be fine.
There's a decent pub 5 mins walk away but other than that and the site shop for basics, nowhere to buy provisions in walking distance. Having said that though, on Saturdays you can have fish and chips delivered directly to your tent!
We loved it and will definitely come back.

We stayed for 3 nights at Polstead, as we live within 35 mins of the site were looking for somewhere to go locally for the weekend after picking our caravan up from its service. Why have we not been here before? It is a million miles from Colchester where we live but 35 mins towing. My other half has done the c&cc towing course but not confident at all until we met Greg who was amazing with his directions and now I cannot stop him reversing everywhere. The facilities were spotless-fresh-and not closed for too long for cleaning. The pitch amazing, hard standing with a low fence and shrubs met lots of interesting people. Local places of interest are great but we went to none as we live down the road. We will be back soon to finish the woodland walk.

Their provision of a FREE Wi-Fi service is unique and should be made available at all other club sites rather than being fee based. If they can do it why not the others.
The only risk on this site is that you have to be careful of the free range chickens. We would most certainly return to this site just for the warm welcome never mind the wonderful Suffolk contryside.

We were guided on pitch by Greg who is excellent with the left and right hand down making pitching a breeze. The facilities are superb and spotless. Pub at the top of the road is good grub but for something a bit more special at a reasonable price the Cock Inn is superb. This was our first visit to this site and we received an extremely friendly greeting from Greg & Karen. We were offered a choice of pitches and even guided into the pitch we finally chose. Our pitch, in the top field where reception and the shower block is, had trees and bushes on 3 sides and, like the whole site, was maintained to a very high standard. The facilities block has been totally refurbished in the past 12 months and was absolutely spotless and extremely well appointed. The shop stocked a surprisingly large amount of `bits and pieces`, including locally baked fresh bread. A wealth of leaflets and brochures about the local area and its numerous attractions could also be found in the shop. Printed walks were also available, one of which we took to the local village, through the woods - fantastic. The pub, The Cock Inn, in Polstead offered great food and a discount for those on site. Free WIFI is available with a small donation to the sites "flower maintenance fund" asked for in return - money well spent. Fish and chips were organised by Greg & Karen on Saturday evening - delivered to your caravan/motorhome/tent as well - what more could you want? For our Beardies, Greg showed us where we could walk them through local land owners fields, which allowed us a few very enjoyable summer evening walks. All in all a fabulous site but one slight criticism.....its 200 miles from home!! Go and visit now.

After years of camping we have now decided to get a caravan and the first site we stopped on was Polstead. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. What a lovely couple Karen and Greg are. They showed us to our pitch and then Greg said you are going to reverse the caravan in. I went to get out of the car but he said no you can do it. With his help, right hand down a bit, left hand down etc I reversed the caravan with no problem. Can I take Greg with me on all my holidays!!!! The showers and toilets were immaculate. The site was very well looked after. If you had any questions they would do there best to answer them. I would have no worries about recommending this site and look forward to going again. A quick feedback on our first booking as a club member: this is a well laid out site, kept very clean with helpful information by owners. HOWEVER, we would not return as we found the road noise disturbing at night, sometimes feeling the traffic was passing right through the field. It was probably more noticeable as we were in a tent. We didn't feel it would be any different if in another field which was a shame as a good location.

Just returned from this lovely site. Wardens extremely friendly and helpful - they even personally deliver your fish and chips to your van on a Saturday night!
Site very clean and well laid out with grass and hardstanding large pitching areas. Everywhere well maintained and clean. Wash block was a very high standard, always clean and immaculate. We stayed on the paddock which is relatively new and quiet. There is another area where a small play area is for the children but mainly this is a good site for peace and quiet and relaxation. The only noise you will hear is the sound of the cockerel waking everyone up (for us it was 4 in the morning and again at 7!)and a little noise from the road but this isn't very busy so you don't notice it.
There is a good pub just up the road from the site which serves an excellent carvery (you can walk to this although if returning late at night be aware that there are no street lamps back to the site.) There is another pub about a mile away reached by a lovely walk through the woods directly from the site.
This site is definitely worth visiting and we will be booking again very soon.

Karen & Gregg are so welcoming and friendly, they were always smiling whenever you saw them. The toilets & showers are great, as is the complete site.Highly recommended.
Lots to do in the area, within easy reach of places, yet still quiet and in the country. Good pub with food on the main road. Will visit again.

Fantastic site - immaculately presented, and Greg and Karen made us welcome from the moment we arrived, with some really helpful tourist information leaflets. Great kids play area, huge family washroom, WiFi with decent coverage and a well stocked site shop made camping there a pleasure. Highly recommended.

Just returned from 5 nights at this site. Super welcome from Karen and Greg, the wardens. Greg was very helpful and helped us reverse onto our quiet corner pitch on grass. Shower block very clean and water hot! Reception has a small shop with all essentials and local visitor information. Good days out in the local area include Lavenham village, Sutton Hoo (Anglo Saxon site) and Melford Hall. We recommend the site and hope to visit again in the future.

A beautifully maintained site run by wonderfully friendly and helpful owners. The site is quite small but well laid out and, despite some reviews, exceedingly quiet at night despite the road nearby. Mind you, the cockerel on site was very vocal on a summer's early morning! A very minor criticism is the strange access to the central facilities - the pebble paths do not go where you logically go to the chemical disposal point, and the motorhome services has no direct access to the CDP either. Nit picky I know, but the morning cassette can be heavy as wheels don't work on the pebble paths and roadways! The quickest route seemed to be always across another person's pitch!

This is our second visit to Polstead this year. Greg & Karen are very friendly and no doubt we will return. The site is well kept and all amenities are very clean. There are lovely local walks which lead to a dog friendly pub. The highlight for Molly was seeing the baby blue tits nesting in the wall mounted ash tray - thank you to Greg for opening this up and giving us the opportunity to see 8 baby birds.

This a gem of a site. You a made to feel welcome the moment you visit reception and Greg and Karen are the most cheerful and helpful hosts that you could possibly meet. The facilities are exceptional as are the pitches. We would recommend this site to our friends and to any member wishing to stay in Suffolk.

We come a long way down from Scotland and have used this site at least 5 times and have been on different positions each time. In all cases the plot was good. We have never noticed any road noise, certainly it has not intruded on us. The site owners/wardens have made a real effort to be welcoming and helpful and keep the site in an immaculate condition. Our satnav always want to take us here by other routes but we check with a map and the site instructions to ensure we come by good roads. Strangely close to the site entrance the satnav always wants to send us in the opposite direction!! The free wifi on site is a boon. The area abounds with places to visit - history all around. We could camp nearer to our family when we come down but it says something for this site that we choose it despite being half an hour further away.
A very friendly site and even in bad weather, a pleasure to be on.

We visited this site for the first time in May 2011 and it most certainly will not be the last. It is up there with the best in the country, the welcome was warm and very friendly, the pitches were spacious with shrubs between most pitches making it nice and private. The new shower block was excellent, very clean and no problem with hot water. The showers have an area to change in and were first class. The area is great for walking or cycling and there are lots of National Trust and English Heritage places to visit in the area.

Have just returned from a three day break in May 2011 at beautiful Polstead. This has to be the best laid out Club Site I've visited. Beautiful area around the site. Met up with some friends from Ipswich who were formerly Caravan Club members & who I introduced to our Club, they also thought it was beautiful and the welcome so friendly. We were so taken with it I've just cancelled my 7day break at Lynton and rebooked 7days at Polstead!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. We could not stay longer as the site was booked over the bank holiday period and we were very lucky to get in. We would definately go back there again and again. The pitches afford privacy, well maintained and the welcome was second to none. They were very helpful and kind. We loved it there and it is the best site we have ever stayed on. If you want a nice relaxing time in very pleasant surroundings then go to this site. The layout is so clever that you have total privacy and peace and the local pubs are good too. There are some good walks and the shower facilities are excellent. The little chickens are an extra joy as they are let out each morning and visit everyone on site. We did hear an occasional car on the main road but you are so relaxed it is of no consequence. Thank you Greg and Karen we loved it and we WILL be back.

This was the first time I had stayed on any campsite in my newly acquired motorhome. As has been said the welcome is very friendly and I found the site managers very helpful. The facilities block is excellent – modern and clean. The main road does run close to the site and there is traffic noise but personally I didn't really notice it that much. Away from the road the area itself is very quiet with local villages just a short walk or cycle ride away. There are also bus services available to Sudbury, Hadleigh, Ipswich etc. if you want to travel further afield.

Although I requested a jumbo sized pitch for our tent well in advance of our stay, and was told we would be accommodated in the new field, and then checked all was still OK a week before our stay, I wasn't impressed that we appeared to have been overlooked when we actually arrived, and were squeezed onto a rather narrow strip of land. This despite there appearing to be space in the new field. I felt we were a bit of a nuisance having a large tent, especially when I was asked if we could not erect it fully!!

New Year at Polstead just gets better and better! For the second year running we enjoyed the fun and talent of the very welcoming hosts, Greg and Karen and their family. We were impressed by the improved party accommodation and the addition of a live band and there is something particularly lovely about the BYO food which lets everyone feel like the party is all about joining in, which young and old alike enjoyed into the early hours. We'll be back. Thanks again.

We were very impressed by the friendly greeting on arrival and the neat and tidy appearance of the site. After being shown to our pitch and helped into position by the warden we ventured to the wash block and were truely amazed by the standard and cleanliness. Simply the best site we've used in the Uk ! Very Pleasant greeting at reception & help parking 'van. Great pitch layout, all marked pitches with clear boundary . Modern and spotless Shower/toilet block. Very good general location in a beautiful area very close to 'Counstable Country'.
Other reviews note traffic noise while there is some noise we did not find it a problem and hardly noticed.

This was the best club site that I have been to. Went there in May this year and came back again in September. Will be staying there again next year as well and being only up the A12 makes it all the more appealing for the unplaned break. The toilet block was the cleanest and warmest I've been to with fresh flowers to make it welcoming. The welcome that you get from Greg and Karen matches the love and care that is shown in the upkeep of the site. A wonderful holiday.
