Considering that this site is beside a theme park, it was surprisingly quiet. It was Bank Holiday weekend, so the site was busy but still the loos were adequate (Users should perhaps use the mops more!). Plenty of space for each unit and we were in the quieter field. Lots of children in the lower field, but again, through trees and screening the site remained calm. Excellent welcome and support on arrival. Lots of walking, the canal and amazing parks (especially the nearby Pagoda Park) so lots to do as well as shopping. The Swan Pub (Milton Keynes Village) and the Barge (Wooleston) were excellent. Look forward to visiting again.

This was our second stay at this site and we were even more impressed than on our first visit. The site managers are without equal, extremely hardworking and committed and nothing seems to be too much trouble.
The site itself and the surrounding area have something for everyone, whatever your interest and preferred camping style. Within short walking distance there is an incredible variety of attractions, including water sports, bird watching, a theme park, theatres, cinemas and the unique experience of shopping in central Milton Keynes. There are also, equally near at hand a wide range of excellent facilities for eating out.
Yet, despite this you can walk, jog or cycle all day in pleasant countryside without ever stepping on a road and, even in winter, without wading through mud. Most of the time indeed you would be unaware that you are walking within the area of a town! From the site itself an enormous number of walks or cycle rides can be undertaken. The Grand Union canal is within yards, as is the picturesque Willen Lake.and a circular walk past the lake, or even around it, then along the River Ouzel and through Ouzel Valley Park to return along the canal had enough of interest for us to do it twice within days.
Our only wish is that the site was open for more months of the year.
We can not recommend the site highly enough!!!

This site really does give you the best of both worlds, and our only regret is that we didn't find it sooner!
If you like "townie" type stuff: shopping, restaurant; theatre, etc, MK has it all, and then some!
The centre is a leisurely 30 minute stroll (or a 15 minute brisk walk), on good footpaths through Campbell park, with footbridges across the canal and roads, which brings you to MK theatre and gallery, with the retail areas and Xscape nearby.
If you like a bit more "country", there is a little farm by the site, and great footpaths which take you to to Willens Lake (10 mins) and beautiful country park.
This area is terrific for cyclists of all ages, and also excellent for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
The lake has plenty of wildfowl, scenic walks/strolls and picnic areas. Watching the energetic whiz around the waterski area is great fun.
There are a couple of good eateries by the lake, including a Fare & Square.
The pitches on the site are in a number of separate areas, which gives it a small site feel.
The loos, showers, family and laundry rooms are all contained within a warm, light airy and spotlessly clean facilities block.
We only marked the facilities as 4 instead of 5 not due to the facilities block, which is great, but the water & waste points, which are just a wee bit awkward if you have water and waste carriers to deal with.
There is a little bit of road noise, which is to be expected from a town location, but the birdsong more than compensates for this.
Last but not least, one of the warmest and friendliest welcomes you will ever get from the site staff, particularly appreciated after a long journey. Took all of the stress out of getting onto the pitch and getting set up.
This will be the first of many visits to this brilliant site!

Well what can I say this was our first time using our caravan (past 4 years we have been tenting). First impression was very good staff were excellent helpful, kind and cheerful. We were shown to our pitch was just in front of park which was great for us as we have two young children. The ground is not level which did become an issue as it constantly rained while we were there and ground was so muddy. (Personally if we returned we would go on a hardstanding pitch) The park was excellent the children loved it. Great places around Willan Lake lots to do. Toilets very very clean although member of our party wished there was a chair in the shower to put clothes. Jim (site warden) was really lovely and very helpful he lent us his tv so our children could watch it! And got us out of the mud. It's the first time we have been on a camping and caravaning site and we would definitely return, purely for how kind and helpful Jim was and other members on site at that time.
Thank you we had a lovely time, even though it rained constantly!

We arrived in the snow but this was not a problem we were shown the site and put on a hard standing pitch and made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble to settle us in. This site is for all ages young & old plenty to do for the youngsters & cycling along the canal very good, lots of lovely cycle paths all around the site. For the shoppers only 1 mile walk into MK centre. Our 2nd visit there will be going again.

A group of us stayed here for a family Easter break & we had a wonderful time. We choose the camping dens which were warm and cosy considering the weather was near freezing :-( Despite the weather and the mud, the site was clean and staff were friendly. The kids really loved Gullivers land/Splashzone & Dinosaur land & have asked to go back. We would definatley stay at this site again & hope that the great English weather is nicer to us next time! I was concerned that this site would be too close to the theme park but I found it quiet and relaxing, even though it was near to the water skiing, sailing and fishing on Willen Lake. Even though it is close to Milton Keynes centre the pleasant rural location is very restful.
Staff were very helpful and welcoming and the site was always clean and tidy. Showers were a bit cramped but there was always hot water.
An excellent site.

A friendly enough welcome, but during the time we were there you always had to ring a bell if you wanted to talk to anyone, even during hours the office advertised itself as being open. The site was very clean and tidy but the showers were small and hard to get dressed in. I had a warmish shower, but the water then went cold and my husband and another lady we met had no shower. There are family rooms, but make sure you ask for a code or you won't be able to use them. There is some road noise, but compensated for by Gulliver's theme park next door, which was good value, especially for under 9s. OK visit although disappointed by showers, probably won't return unless our little one asks to go back to the theme park.

We have visited Milton Keynes many times, but always avoided using Gullivers as we thought it would be brash and noisy. How wrong we were! The wardens were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pitch and the site were superb, despite appalling wet weather and the location was ideal for almost any purpose. We enjoy walking, but not normally in towns. Here we could walk for hours through wonderful parkland and by lakes without ever having to use a road! The walk to Milton Keynes city centre through Campbell park we can only describe as a wonderful experience. The views, at times were incredible. At this site everything is on hand, but nothing imposes itself. You MUST visit to enjoy this experience!

This was our first ever dip into camping so we were a little nervous. We stayed in an Eco Pod with a large group of friends. The greeting by the campsite managers was very warm and we were very pleased that they had inflatable beds for sale as we had forgotten to bring one of the stoppers (see, inexperienced campers!) and had to dash to the office to buy a spare. The pods are small but functional and are a great alternative to a tent. They have lights and power points which came in very handy. The area where the pods are is lovely, secluded with lots of trees and as our group had booked all the pods we could take over the whole area. The shower/washing up/laundry block was warm and spotlessly clean. For reluctant campers like us, this was a brilliant introduction to camping and we'll certainly come back

Went in fear and trepidation to a site advertised as "Gullivers." However, quiet, peaceful and spacious was what we found. Milton Keynes is not for us a desirable town, but this site has access to many magnificent attractions (not least Gullivers if that is what you want). We went to Bletchley Park (5 miles) and Stowe Gardens (10 miles), but there are many more.
The staff were incredibly helpful and considerate, trying to accommodate what we wanted.
Suggest you re-name the site - and ensure that visitors are advised NOT to follow SAT NAV , but the site directions for the final bit.

The facilities are great; showers very clean and well designed.Family shower rooms too. Great area for washing up and laundry. Games room and playground fro kids. Nice size site - very safe for children. Gullivers in walking distance so great for day out with kids.

We have just returned from a fabulous weekend in the sites Eco dens. We were a group of 29 people made up of 8 families. We rented all nine of the dens. They are great for groups. We set up our seating, cooking and socialising area in the middle of all the dens and with fairy lights, gazebo's and multiple BBQs it looked wonderful! It's great for children with a wonderful park area and perfectly safe for them to run around. Gullivers Land is a few minutes walk and a great day out for all the family. Not sure who enjoyed the rides the most kids or parents! Facilities on site are fantastic and the small staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. This is our second year in the dens and we are already coordinating dates for next year. Would highly recommend to anyone who fancies trying a wee bit of Glamping!

We were booked in by Vinnie and Sandra who made sure we were sited on a pitch which would meet our needs, they came back later that day and also the next to ensure we were happy. How could we be anything else, this site is situated beside the Grand Union canal and several of Milton Keynes immaculately kept parks which gave us great pleasure to both walk and cycle through during our week's holiday. The facilities are kept spotlessly clean, and the shower/toilet area though slightly cramped met our requirements very well. The grounds of this beautiful site are continually being maintained, and each area has generous pitches placed well apart. Noise from Gullivers is minimal and at no time did we find it obtrusive. Milton Keynes [1 mile away] is an attractive modern town with all the usual shops etc. As National Trust members we spent a very enjoyable day at nearby Waddesdon Manor the jewel in the crown of the Trust. This French style chateau was owned by the Rothschild dynasty. There are many other N.Trust properties in the area to visit but being blessed with perfect weather we enjoyed all the local area and site had to offer. Well done to Brenda and Jim and their assistants who made every effort to please. Their pleasant helpful manner is to be commended. We have no hesitation in HIGHLY RECOMMENDING this site and would be delighted to spend another holiday there. Many, many thanks.

A beautiful campsite! We were welcomed at the gate and walked around to an area where we were given a choice of several pitches. The campsite is made up of several secluded areas, partitioned of by hedges and trees. It has been well thought out and is a great place to take children, safe and entertaining with a play area. The facilities are numerous (toilets, showers, dish washing, separate rubbish area and drinking water points). They were all very clean and well maintained with constant hot water. I cannot praise this site enough and will definitely be returning when I am this way again.

We stayed two nights, in order to visit family, and would do so again for this purpose, but would not recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful site. It is ideal for families with all the facilities close by and once you have mastered the roads around Milton Keynes, there are all the shops you could need. The site facilities are clean though a little dated, and although the site was busy, there were no queues. The gate is locked at 11.00pm with no pedestrian access, which I presume to be due to the location. On the first morning I woke at 6.50am to the sound of a man on a loudspeaker giving training instructions in the park next door. At 7.20am he went through the same procedure.. I headed for the shower before 7.50am in case he did it again. Also once the rides started, you were aware of the noise from the park. None of this bothered my husband, but I prefer a peaceful country site.

Staying with 2 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs.
On arrival reception were so warm and friendly!
Had a natter then the gentleman showed us a variety of pitches to chose from which was ideal with the dogs.
We chose by the park, which was great for our 9 year old. Lots of children to play with and we could always see what was going on.
Pitch size was huge, that big infant we had to use the whole lead to reach the electric hookup.
So no worries about people setting up home right next to you.
Toilet blocks absolutely spotless.
Shower cubicles small but instant hot water!!
Hadn't brought any food with us so popped to the park shop on the morning. Brought bacon sausage orange juice etc and because we had no cash they allowed us to put it on tab until the end of the week!!
The code entry on the gates is good as There's no one driving around who isn't on site.
Gullivers splash zone and park is all within a short path walk away at the back of the site.
You also get a discount on different hopper tickets when your camping receipt it shown.
So overall we love it!!!!

After reading some reviews, like many you have your reservations. But we have always judged things for ourselves and found the staff and site perfectly fine. Facilties were clean, and the site was well looked after. The family room was a excellent idea as nobody had to hear the chaos of us all getting ready at shower time! We expecially loved that there were no dogs running around off leads which is a nice change! We decided to try one of the eco dens. Very cosy & ideal for a camping aventure in your own mini forest! Our 3 yr old loved it, had a lovely birthday at gullivers & splash zone. He even met the zingzillas !! We were a family of 4 one is 6 months old and fitted a double blow up bed (large) and a travel cot. Would definately book again. Everything was walking distance, just wish we had time for the lake ! This a lovely little site pretty much nestled between Gullivers theme park and the farm park, but not intruded by them.
Our party had 2 adults, a baby and 3 kids (7,8,10) and Gullivers was perfect for them. There is a really good value deal - a 2 day hopper for £27 per person that gives unlimited access to the theme park, farm park and splashzone for 2 connsecutive days or £37 /person for 3 days. Considering that it was £15 for th theme park alone, we thought this was great. We spent the first day at Gullivers with a peak at DinoLnad, and the second day was mostly at Dino Land and the farm park, with a second chance to revisit all the favorite rides at Gullivers, then topped off with 2h at Splashzone!
The site itself is lovely - full of rabbits, squirrels and ducks - woken at 4am by loud dawn chorus!
The site managers were very friendly and helpful in choosing our tent pitch site as it was quiet when we arrived but they were expecting large groups. We ended up with a nice quiet spot near some trees.
The facilities were clean but a bit cramped - you'd do well to get a key for the family rooms from reception.
For those not keen on the theme parks, there still seems to be loads to do in the ares and lots of cycle and walking paths all around. Very close to lovely Lake Willen also.
All in all a lovely site. Would love to visit again, but it's a bit far!

Welcome at site was very friendly although finding the right pitch did take a little while as there aren't really set pitches for the tents, which is a plus as the grass didn't have many yellow patches as the grass gets to breath. The toilet block is one of the cleanest I have ever been in a big plus for me was there not being a cobweb insight. There are two family rooms which are a great size. No where is far from the toilet block. The play area is small but nice for kids upto the ages of around 11. Gullivers and Willen Lake are a very short walk away. Nice pub to eat and drink in a short walk along the canal. Surrounded by many cycle paths but unfortunately due to weather we didn't get to use them. The weather we had was very wet so puddles did form in parts of the camp but I don't think there is a site around that could cope with the amount of rain we have been getting this year so asking for one that isn't boggy I think is living in dream land. Would definately go there again.

This was our first camping trip with the C & CC.
On arrival we were shown to our pitch which was in a quiet corner (as requested)behind some caravans.
The team were very friendly and helpful.
This is a nice small site which has one shower/toilet block, which has about 4 showers for women and the same for men.
These are on the small side but adequate. In addition there are 2 family shower rooms which you get the keys to on arrival from reception. This block also houses the laundry and pot wash area.
The shower/toilet block gets cleaned daily between 1030am-12pm during which time it is closed!
The play area is basic but our 2 boys (10 and 7 yrs) were happy enough.
As mentioned previous the field around the play area does get very waterlogged after a days rain.
The site is very close to the Grand Union Canal and Willen Lake. Where the Lakeside Fayre and square pub is located.
Milton Keynes Shopping is about a 20 min walk, there is also a variety of places to eat here.
Gullivers is a 5 min walk from the site.
There is alot to see and do at this site and would recommend to others.

This was our first camping trip as a family, very much a "finding our feet and road testing our new equipment trip. We had read other reviews and had some concerns, however, these have proved to be unfounded. First impressions on arrival were of a very friendly tidy site. We had booked a grass (no electric) pitch. Shown to a spot on the top field by the hedge we soon had our tent up and were "camping"! Observations -Toilet/shower block was new and clean. Ground became very soggy after it had rained, drainage wasen't great. Tents appeared to be very close together on the lower field, with one right up against the toilet block! (this may be how it is on site, but it seemed strange to us as novices). Theme park was good for the children as on our vist it was virtually deserted! Overall we liked this site and would recommend it.

We would like to say how very much we enjoyed our visit to this site. Such friendly wardens, site in perfect condition, despite their recent problems with flooding. Easy to pitch, quiet for most of the time and even at weekends when the Gullivers Park was open, the sounds were purely of the laughter of small children having fun. No problem at all. When it came to the toilet block - wow! Spectacular and all around it we found the most beautiful tree plantations. This region has so many historic buildings, and if one is keen on shopping, Milton Keynes has it all. It's proximity to the Willen Lake was an added treat. Just beautiful. Their is a train link directly to London for those who wish to visit the Capital City. All in all,an excellent site and we can certainly recommend it to others. Thank you all, once again. Just back from 6 days stay, and we had all the great weather!! Read previous reviews, can only think that they were camping at site just after we had the heavy rains and floods in the area hence the ground still wet! Although site is walking distance of MK City Centre it's also in the countryside near Willen Lake and the Grand Union Canal, so unfortunately you are going to get the effects of the countryside as geese and ducks fly and poo! There is plenty going on in the area for all ages - walks, bars, pubs, restaurants, clubs, gyms and play areas, theatre, cycleways, ski-dome, water skiing, shops and lovely parkland. I know as we live in the area, but love to camp at the site as its the great outdoors!!

Supposedly being the ideal family location, we (4 adults and 4 young children) arrived on Friday lunchtime for a 2 night stay. The welcome was very friendly and we were shown to the camping field (grass with electric pitch). There were no other tents there when we arrived so we had the pick of what appeared at first to be a lovely green field. Closer inspection revealed it to be a very wet and quite boggy field on account of the recent wet weather, but it was also absolutely littered with goose droppings making it completely unsuitable for the children to play on. The rest of the amenities on the site were in excellent clean condition but we would seriously recommend that the site looks into improving the drainage for the camping field (as conditions worsened from rain during our stay). It should also look into suitable pest control measures against the geese, as there is little difference between goose droppings and dog mess when it comes to children playing, and it really did restrict our overall enjoyment of the stay.

Well the weather was terrible, can't be helped, but the hardstandings were so lumpy twisted my ankle on a large rock ! the facilities block was clean with good washing machine and washing up sinks, BUT the toilet block let it down with smelly toilets and showers that you could'nt even bend down and wash your feet they were so small, and also much too hot i was nearly scalded! and another lady also, and said she would not let her child shower because of the heat of the water, dangerous!such a shame they need to sort out the dirty water in the toilets.the site position is great.

The site is in an ideal position being near the centre of MK but tucked right out of the way near Gulliver's. The weather when we was there meant the whole place was very soggy, but that didn't spoil the visit, which over all we enjoyed.
The site managers were friendly and very helpful in getting us, plus all our friends units, onto a relatively solid bit of ground.
BUT ... the men's toilets whilst nice and clean are not built to the normal club standard! The showers are far too small with no room to swing a cat (or even a leg). Worse though was the smell! The men's toilets had a stench that made it very unpleasant to go in. I understand this may be due to the recently started grey-water recycling clearing old used water. It would have helped reduce the stench if there had been even one window or a fan to shift the air - if there was I could not find it. This MUST be fixed!!

We have just arrived back from a long weekend at this site and have had a wonderful time. We was greeted by very friendly staff who were very helpful especially given all the rain, most of the grass pitches were water logged but they managed to find us a lovely spot near the playground. The facilities were just what you needed and very clean.
I would definitely recommened

Want a relaxing mid week break? into walking, swans, ducks etc, shopping. Then this is the place. Everyone we met, site wardens, campers, locals, were all very friendly and helpful. The weather for our stay was lousy but that did not stop us from getting out and about. The toilet block was very well laid out and included washing machine and drier, facilities for hand washing clothes and separate facilities for washing up. It also had all the information leaflets etc. We will be returning later in the year (hopefully when the weather is better) to do the walks we were unable to do this time around.

We found this to be an excellent site with a remarkable number of attractions (besides Gulliver’s theme park itself) within easy walking distance. The Grand Union Canal towpath (excellent walking) is 5 minutes away on foot. Willen Lake is 10 minutes walking away along the wide paved cycle route 51 – the lake is divided into two parts – one has a bird sanctuary, Peace Pagoda, and Buddhist Temple (complete with Zen and other gardens) whilst the other half has a water sports centre, pub, restaurant, etc. 20 minutes walking along the wide paved cycle route the other way (through the attractive Campbell Park and past views right over the cricket ground) brings you to the large Central Milton Keynes Shopping & entertainment (gallery, theatre, & cinema) areas. Another 10 minutes would bring you to the railway station with its regular trains to London.
The site itself is attractive and surprisingly quiet (Gulliver’s itself was closed at the time of our visit). Facilities are modern & heated – although the space in the showers (and water pressure) is rather limited. We will be back.

Just had a weekend at this site what lovely wardens with helpfull information. It has been 33yrs since I lived in Milton Keynes and what a change. The site is away from the fairground so very little noise,it shuts early so not a problem. I am going through mid life and learning to ride a bike again but hate roads, this is the best place to ride a bike so many cycle paths and safe for other riders and pedestrians. The site is so close to Milton Keynes main shopping and close to Willen Park all within walking distance. The facilities were spotless and although without our Grandchildren this time will take them in the holidays. You feel so in the country we could not belive we were so close to everything Milton Keynes has to offer. I Would recommend this site to us more mature people as there are different areas for your comfort.
Will be back with the Children and Grandchildren.

I think the CCC could do more to promote this site for everyone not just families using the theme park (other pictures). We were using the site as a base to visit relatives and it was a brilliant site set in lovely countryside lots of walks and open spaces yet so near to the town centre. Staff were really helpful and friendly kept the site immaculate, sad to say I have to agree about the design of toilet block and stone base but get over that and you cannot fail to enjoy your stay. will visit again

This is a lovely little site run by enthusiatic, knowleagable and passionate staff. Perfect location for Gullivers theme parks and the site staff were very helpful in offering advise around making the most of our short family break. Lot's of open space for the children to play and a little play area which was well maintained. Perfect for our needs.

We have just arrived home from a wonderful hoiday at Gullivers, our first CCC site as new members and what a great start. The staff were both friendly and helpfull and the facilities were wonderfully clean. The play area was a hit with the kids and we hardly saw them. Yes the shower cubicles are slightly small and we got a family room key on day 2 which made things much easier, also the water in the dishwashing room could do with being a bit hotter. But all in all a fantastic site and we look forward to going again and we will definatley recommend this site to all our family and friends

This was our first camping trip as a family, and we travelled with a group of friends. Although we all booked at different times, the site staff made every attempt to keep us together, and we ended up a few tents apart, which was fine.
Regarding the comments about the size of the showers, I have to say I think they are a little unfair. I'm 6ft 7, and managed to shower both myself and our 2 1/2 yr old son in a standard cubicle. Ok, so it was tight, but this is a campsite, not a 5* hotel. I've nothing to compare it with, but is was remarkably clean and tidy, hot water and well lit. It's a thumbs up from us.
Sited next to Gulliver's Land was a real boon for us, we live fairly local so know MK quite well, and didn't venture out of the park - there was no real need to. For those staying a bit longer I can see the addition of an on-site shop might be an advantage, but there are a wealth of shops in MK, which is a few minutes away by car.
A great site all in all.

Ian E (Club member) reviewed Gullivers Milton Keynes Club Campsite...
My wife & I just spent 5 days at this site. Having read the reviews before travelling we were not quite sure what to expect but would have to say that the facilities lived down to the views expressed. The material used for the roads and hardstandings are awful: dirty and dusty. The toilet block has spacious corridors, laundry and family rooms but the main bathrooms are cramped, unventilated and with water pressure that means the water just about manages to fall out of the shower head. The water is barely warm at times too. The wc pedestals have been fitted with plastic seats that creak loudly when sat upon and lids that will not go right back.
Having said all this, I would also have to say that the site staff were very friendly and helpful and that the location of the site is superb considering that it is so close to Milton Keynes. The Grand Union Canal, Campbell Park and Whillan Lake are all within a stones throw. For those who want it the Gullivers Theme Park is next door but does not intrude. The Dinosaur Park is a good (but expensive)place to take smaller children. David Lloyds Fitness Centre is only a short walk away. Would we go back? We would like to explore the area some more but would be put off by the poor facilities on the site.

A nice clean site, close to gullivers land ideal for family's however very strict on the rules if you arrive early not very accomadating, we had just came from a ferry which landed at 6.30am at portsmouth and arrived at the campsite early than expected (10am) to be told we had to wait until 12pm before we could have a pitch although they seemed to have many spare we were told they couldn't do anything for us and we had to reverse from the gate and go park into gullivers splashland car park and wait until 12pm!!

Just come back from Gulliver's Site with our 2 children (8 and 4). We were greeted on site and shown to our pitch, which was close to toilet block and park. The toilet block although clean had small cubicles for undressing. There are two family bathrooms where you pay £5 deposit (well worth it). It was a very relaxing site, great for families. If you want something more active there is Gullivers Theme Parks. We went to the Eco Park which is well worth a visit.

The great benefit about this site is the location, especially for motorhomers. Its only a short taxi ride into Milton Keynes which cost us only £4.
The other positive is it is an ideal all weather location as Milton Keynes has so much to offer. We really enjoyed the indoor skydiving but there is also an indoor snowdome, iceskating, several cinemas and great shopping and restaurants. You may think of this site as being ideal for families with young children because of its proximity to Gullivers land but given the other acitivites nearby it is ideal for older children and adults alike.
The downside has been highlighted by other reviewers and that is the shower block. The cubicles are so small they have had to use saloon type doors that open in the middle as its too small to have a proper door that opens inwards.
The stones are also a pain as they get into your motorhome all the time but this is the same on a number of other sites from both main clubs.
Overall thought the positives of location outweigh the negatives of the site and we will definately return.

Lovely welcome and friendliness of staff excellent. It's a shame the CCC didn't go the extra mile to provide better facilities as this is a new site. The pitches are stone and crushed tarmac which is not at all successful. The chilrens play area excellent. The toilet/shower block is of a very poor design, with a lot of wasted space that could have been used for larger shower cubicles which are far too small to use easily. Water pressure is very low and the temperature mediocre. A huge improvement would be the provision of a a duckboard for changing on, the floors are permanently wet in the mornings. The floors are very slippery. Also the provision of soap or toiletries tray that is attatched to the wall properly would be helpful. Two of the ladies toilets were out of use.
The location is brilliant, it is a shame about the facilities as this could have been a real show stopper of a site.

The shower/toilet facilities were disappointing - very little room in the showers to change/dry.
also shower pressure very low and not very warm.
However loved this site from the outdoors, close to ameneties - also loved that they tried to keep families and couples only apart - it is one of the few family sites I will go to again due to this (camp as a couple only).
toilets/showers really need to be re done for extra space.

Set aside what ever stigma might be attached to Milton Keynes, this is a great site with absolutely loads to do nearby. Apart from Gullivers which is aimed at yong children, you have indoor skiing, a climbing wall, and a sky diving simulator which is all at Xscape near the town centre. Just across the road is Willen Lake, which has plenty of activities in and around the water. The site is very clean and the staff friendly. This site is worth a visit.

A very nice site near to the theme park but also on a massive cycle path network taking all around MK and the surroundings. Lots of green spaces, the Grand Union canal and the stores of central MK are all very close by and to be honest easier to access on bike. Site facilities up to Club standards, apart from the road which is broken-up tarmac (might settle down) which is hard work to cycle on and a bit rough underfoot. Everyone on site very friendly, lots of information to hand. Watch for a wicked speed bump as you turn off the last roundabout onto the site approach road.

A cracker! We stayed the weekend after it officially opened and were staggered at how secluded and peacful it felt despite being on the edge of central Milton Keynes. The welcome was very warm and helpful. The pitches were flat and all our neighbours were as delighted as we were with the facilities and the proximity to Gullivers land. You get your own pathway into the theme park which was equally excellent although certainly targeted at younger kids between 5-8. The playing facilities for kids was huge and we only saw our two for meals!I would recommend this site to any young family unreservedley. We stayed for a long weekend during the summer and the combination of the local facilities and the theme park make it unbeatable. The facilities were superb and sensitvely done in a log cabin style.

This site was a pleasant surprise, we only live 30mins away and camped to try out a new unit, we will certainly return. You can easily walk into Milton Keynes Centre (shopping, snow dome, theatre etc) and you can just as easily have a pleasant walk with dogs or children. There are 12 miles of footpaths alongside the canal just outside the site. Willen lakes is just over the road and has high ropes and water sking amonst other things, Gullivers have a theme park, dinosaur land and farm park.
The main thing that I was dissappointed about on site was the small cubicles in the toilets and showers.

Only gripes were the gravel paths and hardstanding which are impossible to push buggies on and the open access to a deep lake by the playground - a gate would be a sensible solution. Would definitely recommend.

Was surprised by this site as I was expecting some soulless field next to the theme park. It was very pleasant in a country setting although just minutes from MK city centre. Despite its location near roads we heard very little noise from traffic or the theme park next doors.
The facilities were great although limited on-site shop. The wardens enforced their no noise policy at 11 pm but if you have young kids that go to bed before 9pm request a pitch away from the climbing frame.
Our group of Mums and children loved it but probably not one to visit if you dont like kids.
