A lovely small peaceful campsite surrounded by fields with a view of the sea in the distance. Information hut had all that we needed to make the most of our few days, particularly the bus timetable! The bus stop is just a 10 minute walk from the site making coast walks both North and South from the site wonderful as we didn't have to walk back alongside country lanes. Toilet clean but be warned, you need to take a torch in with you, the time delay off switch is very short.

This is a lovely site in a beautiful location with a view of the sea. The grass is level, well-drained and well cared-for. We were in a tent and as it is an open site without any shelter apart from a dry stone wall, we suffered a bit from the high winds for a couple of days. However, the easy access to beautiful sandy beaches, wonderful rolling countryside and the nearness to Alnwick (10 minute drive) with it's market-town attractions and Alnwick Garden, more than made up for the slight discomfort of the weather. The owners are delightful - friendly and welcoming. All in all, a very pleasant stay. We will definitely return.

Caroline and Harry have just opened this wonderful CL in early Summer 2011, we found it on the club web site when looking for a cheaper alternative to the local club site. There is sufficient hard standing for five outfits but we opted for the grassed area. The site was firm and well drained, the usual facilities include WC and hand basin as well as electric hook ups for all.
We can throughly recommend this CL to all
