Staff extremely helpful.
Facilities clean and spotless.
A great site for chilling out or for coastal walking.
Beware the coastal bus service 700 alright for going to Portsmouth or Chichester but any one how does the return trip to Brighton should get a prize.

First time we have stayed at this site but it won't be our last. Lovely small site with pitches well thought out. We had a choice of pitches on arrival but all pitches are well kept. Facilities were being decorated whilst we were there but it didn't disrupt our stay at all. Had a lovely meal in the pub next door and visited Emsworth, Chichester and Arundel over the weekend. We will be back again to explore more of the area.

Been coming here for 12 years.
Nice quiet site, no motorhome service point.
Pub next door just refurbished and now great, would not have gone in before.
Make sure you don't get a pitch near assistant warden as he has a tv in the awning which is loud. If he was a camper we would have complained to the warden.

We meet up with friends at this site every year and always had a friendly welcome from the previous wardens but unfortunatly this year are greeting was very hostile because we phoned to say my husband was poorly so would be arriving a day late then after packing the van found a cracked windscreen that could not be replaced till the monday, reading the reveiws it seems as long as you are not poorly or you windscreen does'nt break you might get a better welcome than we did.

After visiting this site in february and comenting on the dirty and worn shower heads I am happy to say that after revisiting this site all the taps had been renewed and are now sparkly clean, the showers have all been updated and are all now new.
The site wardens are really friendly and couldnt do more to help you.
we will certainly come back to this site, we used the chinese down the road again which was really superb and to be recomended as is the kebab van parked in a layby just outside the site every weekend.
Ther are nice walks to the harbour and there are shops and pubs within walking distance.
The bus stops are just outside the entrance the 700 which is twice hourly takes you to Brighton one way ot portsmouth the other.

We love this little site. It has so much much around it and you don have to start your car to walk down to the sea through fields. Its unspoilt and perfect for a quiet break. Great localpubs and the sun seems to shine when we come here. Perhaps thats another reason we love it so much.

What a little gem. A fantastic site in a lovely location. Great Farm Shop within walking distance. Bus service to Chichester, Portsmouth, even as far as Brighton. A short stroll lands you by the coast and so many places to walk and cycle to. The wardens are wonderfully friendly and helpful. It's a site we will have to come back to as not enough time to do all we want to in a week.

Very warm friendly welcome, would certainly return. If I have one HYPERCRITICAL note, it would be the showers...the push button only runs the shower foe seconds so you have to always keep pressing the button! but the showers were always warm with plenty of hot water!

The site was well maintained by a very efficient crew. The cleanliness of the facilities was obviously high on their list of priorities as they allocate three hours a day to do so !! much appreciated. with two kids on my own the disabled facilities were offered to us to use while we were there but fee that the site would benefit from proper 'family' shower room.
I was placed on pitch 1 and I really struggled to pitch the tent as there seemed to be a layer of gravel only a couple of inces below the surface, for drainage ?? bending about 10 tent pegs in the process, not a great start.
loads to do and see around the area and I am sure we will be back, thanks.

What a fab site this is! The welcome was brilliant, we were advised about the shower blocks, water tap, to ask at Reception if we wanted to walk (which we did and were given a route plan) or know anything about the local area. The Shower Block and Toilets were immaculate - you could eat your dinner off the floors! The only critisism I have is that when I wanted a 'lie-in or camping leisurely start to the day' the shower block closed for cleaning at 10.30am, it would have been less hurried if it was 30 mins to an hour later.

This was out second Club Site and it is superb! We used it as a base to explore Portsmouth and visit the Dockyard museums. The site was very friendly and welcoming, the staff very helpful and full of humour. The pitches were level (perfect for tents) and well spaced. The shower and toilet blocks were spotless and even when the water mains had a problem it was quickly resolved within hours. Plenty of hot water! There was nothing to fault here and we would love to return again. We hope other sites can match the standards set here, perfect!

We found all of the staff friendly, helpful and a mine of information. The site is well kept and the facilities impeccable. The site is very convenient for all of us who have bus passes because the coastline bus route is just outside the site. The site is in a good location to explore the South East either by bus, train or car.
Due to a family member being seriously ill we had to leave the site early, staff couldn't have been more helpful and were kind enough to reimburse some of our site fees. We will certainly visit this site again.

Hi, Wardens very very helpful, and a really lovely site with great shower block feels like home, great position for visiting Portsmouth and surrounding area by Bus or car, bus stop directly outside the site. Only slight downside is some road noise at the front of the site, but the site makes up for that, will certainly call again

Right off a main road, with all the amenities that that offers, and yet very quiet and peaceful secure site. Very helpful staff, and very well maintained facilities. Plenty of places to visit within easy reach. Was particularly impressed by Brighton, with it's wonderful street musicians and laid back ambience. Had a really nice, relaxing week. Give it a try.

Stayed at the site for a few days in Feb. 1/ term. Bit boggy under foot as they'd had so much rain, but all in all a nice site. Situated along a main road, although was very quiet, on a main bus route which was great as we caught the bus into Chichester, & also it had great cycle paths in the area, all the way to Chichester & surrounding area. Friendly enough, very clean showers & toilets,if a little old. Well stocked farm shop just opposite site & a coop around the corner.Station a stones throw away.A lovely pub serving home-cooked food at reasonable prices just outside the site entrance! A little dark on the site at night so would recommend taking torches to the loo's!! All in all would definatly recommend the site, we would go back.

We started off on a bad point when we asked to move pitches, we were told that the pitch we wanted was earmarked for a larger unit but saw smaller units using the pitch , when asked about this the warden made some excuse which we couldnt challenge.
when we asked to stay longer we were told that the site was full but the wesbsite told otherwise, just because I was "awkward" I guess??
the site is near a bus stop and gets you to portsmouth one way and brighton the other way,a chinese reastaurant was very close about 5 minute walk and we do recommend the food there, lovely but the pub which was next door isnt very friendly but the food also there was very nice, we went there two nights hoping for improvement but they were still the same, the shower heads were dirty when we got there with green mould and was still there when we left, a cause of leigionaires I believe.
One cold water tap for the whole site to use which isnt very good, lots of sites now have water on every pitch and they have the cheek to charge you "super pitch " money at £3 odd a night extra when you just get a pitch with some square mesh pieces set into the ground to stop the van sinking.
This review might get us banned from the site but it has to be told.

l have stayed many times over the years - it is ideally situated for access to Chichester, Portsmouth, Car Ferries and nearby harbour. Excellent local facilities including pub, farm shop, post office, convenience store, bus stops outside entrance, and railway station about 15 mins walk. BUT, the Site facilities are tired and need upgrading, there are occasional power failures and in 2010 not all the shower cubicles were operational. The Managers did an excellent job under sometimes trying circumstances, and were always cheerful and helpful. For these reasons l consider it to be expensive compared to other Club Sites with better facilities.

We chose this site as we wanted to explore the Portsmouth area ,after many a time travelling into Portsmouth to catch the ferries and never seeing enough of it , the site is in a great location for exploring the area we even travelled as far east as Brighton which I was very impressed with.
Portsmouth was everything and more than I thought it would be , and the towns and villages nearby including Chichester were all wonderful.
Back to the site , this site felt very much like a adult only site ,as there was nothing for Children to do on site also it was quite small 50+ pitches , every thing was immaculate to C&CC standards , there was some slight road noise from the road out side the site but nothing to worry about , a short walk 3 to 5 minutes from site was a well stocked spar shop and post office , also a farm shop , the other way a similar distance was a caravan dealer and accessory dept , and a Chinese restaurant.

We loved this site so much that we deccided to book again within 2 hours and are going on bank holiday at end August.
There was pride and care in the site and the owners were helpful and even gave a parking bay to my mother who has just had a knee operation.
You have to cross the road to let the dog off the lead but it is such a lovely walk all the way to the coast if you want it does not matter. Its near where we store the van so we want to make this a regular site for us to visit.
