First time we have stayed at club site. Had planned to come with our caravan but as husband working came on my own with 3 kids and a tent! Site very spacious with lots a facilities blocks within easy reach of all of the pitches. The small onsite cafe was a bonus on our first night when we finally got the tent up in the pouring rain and the small shop at reception saved us a few trips to the local Tesco. The staff were very helpful and the site had a very friendly feeling with lots of the other campers chatting and lending a hand. Would recommend the Scalby Manor carvery which is just a short cut through from the site. All in all a great weekend despite the thunder and lightning.

Just came back from a 5 night stay here, originally 4 nights but booked an extra night. I got a warm welcome at reception and was shown to our pitch by a really helpful warden. He explained where everything was: toilets, water, waste etc. Toilets were clean and never had to queue for a shower. There was a fish shop on site though we never used it but heard good reports from other guests. There was also a pub that served a lovely carvery which was just a minutes walk away. They were two decent kids play areas which my two kids loved. We visited the Sealife centre which was about 5 mins drive away and about 20min on foot. We had a couple of day trips out to Scarborough beach and Whitby harbour which cost £6 to park a car there all day. We will definitely be booking up again.

Unfortunately as non-members, and our first visit to the site, we were not welcomed in the same friendly manner from the desk staff as the members. However, the chap who showed us to our pitch was lovely and really helpful, showing us the coastal path etc.
Facilities were very clean, and the showers lovely, hot and powerful. Unfortunately the block where we were had no Elsan disposal and it was a real trek up to the only block that did.
Dog exercise field was large, lovely and clean with doggy bins provided and emptied regularly.
Would return if desk staff learned how to smile! : )

Stayed on yhis site in October 2012 for a week. Was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. Was so close to Scarborough that we could walk to North Bay. The chippy on site has the most tasty fish and chips and was a welcome change from cooking. The dog excercise field was brilliant too. Will definately be going back

Me and my husband have just got back from a week at this site and its our 2nd visit, we visited last year and was really impressed and again this year was not dissapointed. We wanted to be near our parents who were also visiting the site and we were accomodated on the same field a stones throw away. The staff couldnt do enough for us and were very friendly.
The site is in a great location for visiting the centre of Scarborough with a beautiful cliff top walk across the road from the site with amazing views.

Great site with loads to do for the kids such as 2 play parks and a football pitch, a recreation room and loads of space. Staff were great and very willing to help if needed.
Plenty of shower blocks and service points and we will definately be returning to this site in the summer months where it'l hopefully be a bit warmer.
Great fish n chips on site and the recommended Hayburn Wyke pub served great home cooked grub!!

i visited the site for my first outing with a caravan having previously used tents. The staff were friendly and welcoming and eager to assist.
The pitches were spacious and easy to get on to for setting up,
The facilities were first class, the modern toilet blocks were spotlessly clean and well maintained.
There are a couple of play areas for the kids to enjoy themselves and on an evening the site was nice and quiet.
A really good camp site.

Lovely site, friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean and great location for coastal walk to North Bay area (takes about 20 - 30 mins depending on how much the dog dawdles!). Nice little pub, with real ale & excellent Whitby scampi, at the end of the coastal walk in North Bay near the Sealife Centre. Cycled on into Scarborough south bay - nice little town with lots of pubs and seaside stalls selling lovely hot donuts.....mmm! It should be noted that the site's 'hardstanding' pitches are actually grass with buried mesh, (not tarmac or gravel) and due to the amount of rain, the ground was muddy and wet. We did get stuck and had to be towed off with the site tractor. Staff were very obliging but it would have been a nuisance if we had wanted to go out for the day in the 'van.

Very friendly, helpful wardens. Site is perfectly located on outskirts of Scarborough but with easy access to town either by walking coastal path or local bus from The Ivanhoe. Ideally situated for us as motorhomers as we like to pitch and then leave motorhome on site and then use public transport. Only negative, and it is quite a big one, is that the so-called hardstandings are NOT suitable for motorhomes. They have mesh under grass but this is not enough for heavy motorhomes. Our pitch was boggy, soft and a struggle to get off, not what you expect when you have booked a hardstanding.

Very welcoming wardens.
Very near North Bay Beach just over a mile.
Plenty of places to visit within a 30 mile radius
Well kept site.
However wardens living area needs attention please. Felt sorry for them.Area sloping and rough. Please improve this area for the hard working wardens.
Also for cooler months heating in the top loo block is not sufficient for you to enjoy a shower.

Easy to find straight of main road. Wardens very friendly and happy to help. We managed to blow the fuses and it was sorted out within 5 mins of us letting them know. The facilities are excellent with at least three Toilet/shower blocks spread about the large camp. First day we took the cliff walk into Scarborough. This only took us about 25 mins, but be aware some very steep steps built with rocks at the end to take you down to the North Bay abd Sealife center. So you need to be a bit carefull but other wise a pleasent walk. Day 2 we walked in by the road, took about the same time and brings you out at Peasholm Park. This time we walked back and called in at the Scalby Manor pub ajacent to the site. A carvery for £3.99 was very good. Then through the gate back to the van. There is a fish and chip shop on site where we had the best fish n chips I,ve had for a long time. A dog area is advertised but this is nothing special and the dog enjoyed the cliff walk better. So yes we will go back to this site again.

What a fabulous site! The location is perfect for walkers and cyclists - so much to choose from. Even better was the warm and friendly welcome from the Team running the site. The weekend i arrived was very busy but a cordial welcome was waiting by all the staff.Site was clean and tidy all w/end despite been so busy.Pub next door good value food but no change of menu and the w/end i was there was very hot weather and there is no a/c in dinning area.
Fish and chips on site worth the long trip just for a taste.
Top marks to all conected with the running of this site.
One small point, the signage for the site from the roads could be better.
There are several camping sites in the area and to have signs pointing to C&CC site would be a big help, also the sign outside the site is very poor, to small and set to far back.

Just having returned from Scarborough, once again, we tend to visit 2-3 times per year as we love it so much, this time we were disappointed that there was someone on site that wasn't clearing up after their dog/s. We have dogs and ALWAYS clear up but someone had left a doggie pile on the roadside and another doggie pile was left on the track upto the dogwalk. If people can't clear up after their dog/s then they should leave them in kennels rather than spoil it for everyone else who has a dog and does clear up !

We have just returned from a 6 night stay at this, one of the clubs biggest sites. We booked way back in November 2011 with several friends to have a holiday altogether, there were seven units in all, and while we do not expect to be guarnteed adjacent pitches some where in the same vicinity of the site would have been appreciated. The facilities were excellent, but this constant inability by the club to pitch groups who book together near each other is most annoying and on this a very large site with empty pitches all around us when we arrived I can see no excuse for it. So I would not recommend this site for groups we were two fields apart!

This is a brilliant site, very clean excellent helpful staff. When we arrived one of the wardens showed us round the various hardstanding pitches available, even recomended us not to take one pitch due to a couple of noisy dogs opposite. We chose a lovely pitch overlooking Scarborough towards Oliver Mount. Very quiet, even though the site was busy there is plenty of open space for kids to play safely. Nice clean toilets and showers. It has an excellent fish shop on site and good value. We will definitely be coming back next year.

I have been visiting this site since I was a youngster with my parents; and now with my own family. The site is clean and tidy with ample shower facilities and lots of hot water - even if busy showers always available. The reception staff are very helpful (especially Trish) and the gentlemen on the bikes who guide you to your pitch, are very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this site to all family units, We recently visited with family members and the staff were very helpful in locating pitches next to each other - we had a great 3 night stay. Our first time on a Camping & Caravanning Club site and we were not disappointed. We found the staff to be consistently friendly and helpful and, despite reservations about such a large site, loved our spacious and peaceful pitch. Although busy while we were there, we never had to queue for showers, there was plenty of hot water throughout the day, and quietness fell well before 11pm. The site is well resourced - we particularly appreciated the fish and chip shop on our first night, and all the facilities are clean and well-maintained. Not having electric hook-up, we had not expected to have to pay to use the site's own ice blocks, but appreciate that with a site of this size re-freezing our own would probably be difficult to manage.
The site is ideally situated for visiting Scarborough - it is a pleasant clifftop walk to North Bay, and there is plenty of pay-and-display and disc parking in the town.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to return soon.

Scarborough was our first stop after travelling all the way from Camden.
We arrived and were promptly given the information of site amenities and then lead to our pitch of hardstanding for our van and tent which was quiet away from traffic. The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean with running hot water and of ample size.
The site is a fantastic base for visiting the beach which was perfect for our watersports. walking into Scarborough was a doddle along the Cleveland Way. We really enjoyed visiting Cayton Bay(our dog loves the beach!), The Maritime museum, and the arcades! the Cleveland Steam Rooms is also a must for a relaxing afternoon in one of the saunas.

Staying at this site for the 1st time & overall it is excellent. Very peaceful but within walking distance of Scarborough. Excellent facilities & friendly staff as we find on all club sites we visit. My husband had to go back to work & left me there with the kids & no car. Great for walking & cycling & great play area for kids. We only dropped 2 stars on the facilities because of 2 things. One because the bus no longer stops outside the site & i think this should be amended in the big sites book & two because there are no hardstandings as such, we are on a grass pitch which has got pretty soggy in the rain. As we dont use an awning we like to be on a hardstanding. While we didnt mind at all really we did mind incredibly at having to pay for one & would suggest anyone booking this site just books grass & saves themselves some money. Very misrepresented in this respect. All in all a great site though & would definately visit again.

If the kids are happy then the holiday is normally a success and the kids loved this site - they have asked me to bring them back again next month!
The site was very busy but didn't feel crowded and I always found the toilet / shower blocks free when I needed them. They seem to be well spaced around the site which helps.
The site has a recreation room which had a couple of table tennis tables which the kids played on most days (bats and balls are available for sale in the shop but are quite expensive). There are a couple of playgrounds with swings, climbing frames etc and a fenced ball games area and it felt a very safe place for the kids to explore and make new friends.
The site also has a laundry and a cafe although I didn't use either of these so cannot really comment.
You can walk to the coastal path (Cleveland Way) which is about a mile from the site and an easy walk - nice route for dog walks.
There is a very popular pub which can be accessed from the site where a very reasonably priced carvery can be found and the food was great both times we visited.
Scarborough town center is a short drive away and Peasholm Park is well worth a visit as is the Sea Life Center (keep your parking tickets as there was a discount on ours which saved £5 per person)
Another great day out was Dalby Forest which is a bit of a drive (near Pickering) but an ideal place to take the bikes and go mountain biking. There are lots of picnic tables with holders for re-usable barbecues (I wish we had thought of that before hand)
All in all a great place to stay. We will be booking again and will be visiting Dalby Forest again with bikes and barbecue.

Why have we never been here before? What a great site. We were next to the road and it wasn't too bad, certainly been to noisier ones. Pitch size was enormous and site facilities brilliant. Small cafe on site that serves breakfast and evening fish & chips until 8pm - great for late arriving. Two play parks and fab dog field. Best of all a friendly pub just the other side of the boundary gate! Toilets and showers very clean and can use the different blocks. We shall be using again and have already told our other friends about this little, or rather large, gem. Arrived mid-afternoon on a very windy day. The warden (For some reason) decided to change our pitch upon arrival to one that was very exposed. A freak gust of wind managed to snap 3 of the 5 poles on our tent. The warden had previously told me how he wanted the tent pitching, which I thought strange as this was broadside into the wind! There was no help offered by staff or fellow campers (My wife is disabled so wasn't able to help much). Unfortunately, as it was now later Sunday afternoon, there was nowhere to go and get spare poles from, so it was a four hour journey back home! Refund was given, including deposit which was very generous. Looks nice site and hopefully will return one day!

We have just returned from a stay at this site and I have to say it was a very enjoyable stay. We received a warm welcome on arrival, were given the choice of pitches - needed 2 together as my parents were arriving after us. The facilities were always clean and well maintained. The onsite chip shop was ideal after a days journey and setting up, and the Carvery just outwith the park served good food at extremely reasonable prices. Ideal for getting into Scarborough itself or for travelling a little further. Would definitely return to this site again

We used to love this site and went at least twice every year until the Wardens were extremely rude to my Daughter regarding having to pitch her tent at an unacceptable angle, after making a fuss and saying she would cancel her membership surprise surprise they found her another pitch which was level, the toilets were dirty and often had no soap for hand washing, We are happy to see the Wardens have changed and will now definitely give it another try.

First impressions were that there were a lot of staff, all very friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that there are several wash-blocks, although "mine" was the only one I used. There's very good take-away on site with limited opening hours but excellent haddock and chips! Accessible straight from the site is a pub where you can get a superb roast dinner every day for £3.99 (£7.49 on Sundays) and a cracking 'full English' every morning from 9 a.m. The beer is also at a very reasonable price for this day and age.
My tent pitch was on a pronounced sideways slope (why can't we tent campers have flat pitches?) with very long un-mown grass as a base. Not ideal as my groundsheet wouldn't 'sit' properly as a result.
The 'bus into Scarborough is from outside the site entrance, but check the times carefully otherwise you could be stranded, it is a VERY limited service.
All-in-all a nice site, although I probably won't return purely because it's such a long way from home for me.

We LOVE this site!! Stayed here last year and when I asked my 4 year old in January where she wanted to go on her holidays she shouted SCARBOROUGH!!! We are all so excited to be returning next week and will be bringing our niece with us too. Its in an excellent location for all the local attractions/towns. Facillities were brilliant, everything was super clean, staff very friendly and helpful and the people on site were lovely - hope the other campers are as nice this time!! All in all our favourite site. We have many happy memories from staying there and are looking forward to making some more soon.

great site, staff very helpful, facilities great, you get a good feeling of open space, the steak pie and chips was my favourite from the chippy, was a good base for goathland, whitby etc, just two points to note,it is slightly expensive compared to other sites in area and we were pitched on the edge of site at side of burniston road, there was quite a bit of traffic noise, nonetheless we will go back later on in the year.

I would award this site a 5 apart from a couple of niggly things. Toilet block 3 - the dishwashing room door slams shut, hard it needs a new spring to keep it quiet and also the showers need something putting in so that the water from the adjacent shower doesn't splash through!
Despite this, it's a lovely site, close to Scarborough. Lots of amenities near and far. Fully recommended.

Try the on-site fish and chip shop, fresh and all cooked to order - excellent. Good, well maintained, level hardstanding pitches. Good clean washrooms (one heated) with good hot showers. Nearby easy cycling paths into Scarborough in one direction and Whitby in the other. Nearby access to the coastal path and a pleasant walk into Scarborough via the North Bay and Sea Life Centre. However, even in early May the local buses appear to stop running after 6pm along the adjacent main Scarborough/Whitby road - you either have to walk back from Scarborough or get a taxi.

Have visited in the past and enjoyed the stay but when went to book again, proces seem to have gone up considerably. One camper stated ' value for money' but this must have een a while ago or in low season. £6.75 for one child is far too steep and we wont be returning as it's cheaper to stay in a nice hotel!

This is the first club site we have stayed on and would highly recommend it. The site is clean with great amenities and friendly, helpful staff. The pitches are generous and it is a big site with lots of room. There are lots of good walks, with or without dogs, and it is a short walk to the coastal path. The site is about a 10 minute drive from town which suited us very well. There is some fantastic countryside around the site and we will be back next year.

Although having caravaned for 15 years we have only recently joined the Club so this was our first visit to a Club site. The welcome we got was overwhelming and for our whole stay the friendliness of the staff never faltered. The facilities were spotless. Handy site for so many places to visit. Across the road, walk to cliffs about 15 mins. There's one place you can slither down to the beach if you're brave enough. Once down you have the beach virtually to yourself. Have to watch out for tide. Pub next door excellent for carvery and guiness. If this is an example of all Club sites then we are converted.

This is a big and well used site but the pitches are generously spaced so there is no feeling of being overcrowded. It is kept clean and well maintained, and the staff were cheerful and provided their help with finding the most suitable pitch and offered more when strong winds threatened to rip down the awning. There are sufficient toilets and showers in a number of blocks, although the more popular times of day might need a short wait for facilities. That said, they were kept very clean and well stocked, and had the hottest water ever encountered on a campsite!
The location is perfect for the coast, the North Yorkshire moors, site seeing or walking. The bus stop is immediately outside the main entrance. The pub at the back of the site has good breakfast or carvery food at nonsense prices, and the cafe on site competes well with fish, chips and local goodies. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

This was the first club site we used since joining camping and caravanning 18 months ago. We have stayed at a number of other club sites, but rate this as the best and always re visit whenever possible. The site is large, but well set out. It's location is perfect, just out of town to have the peace, but within a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive to be back in it. Other coastal towns like Filey and Whitby are so easy to reach from here. We have a couple of lively dogs and there is a great walk over the road, taking you along the cliff tops down to the beach. If you want food quick, there's an onsite chippy, but we prefer the pub next door for the £3.59 carvery. Get there quick mind, it gets busy after 5pm. Toilets and showers are spot on and you can see the site is well maintained generally. We will continue to come here and recommend to most people.

We have been going to the site since it was council run and seen the improvement that the Caravan & Camping Club has brought.
I can only reiterate what everyone else says about the site, it is one of our favourites.
My only gripe is the toilet/shower blocks, They've had little done to them over the years and are in serious need of attention.

just back from this lovely site, cannot fault the cleanliness of the site, ate in pub next door, was good value for money we got a bargain only cost us £10 for 2 roast beef dinners and a bottle of house wine ( think they made a mistake ).Only thing a will say about the site is the showers, cubicles to small, no devideing wall between actual shower apart from a curtain, meaning all the water runs out onto the drying and dressing area, and could be doing with having the mirrors in the same cubilce and not in a seperate one thus brushing teeth etc you have to go into another one.Our pitch was electric and it was near the dishwashing area, and the toilets ,we will go back to this site at some point. So please go its lovely.

Considering the size of this site it was kept to an extremely high standard of cleanliness throughout. I could see how hard the staff worked and yet they always managed a smile in passing. I was right next to the entrance/exit yet still it was quiet. The pitch fortunately for me was level. The only negative for this site is that some parts where unlevel - THE ONLY MINOR POINT! I visited with my teenage daughter and we said we'd be visiting again next year as I felt safe and secure.

Excellent for families.Peasholm park just down the road and a short drive into Scarborough for town and beach.Plenty of dog friendly beaches around this area.
Lovely little cafe on site serving fish and chips and doing breakfasts.
Only one criticism. our toilet block had only 3 showers so it did get a bit crowded with queues and i only knew of 1 chemical disposal point for emptying the toilet which was quite a walk away and observed others wandering trying to find it had to tell them where it was.

Just returned from a 9 night stay, and would definately recommend. The site is varied with regard to sloping, we were lucky enough to get a fairly flat pitch, but some looked quite steep. The showers were always clean and we didnt have to queue for them once. There are parent and children rooms, which we found great during the week, made life a lot easier with 2 little ones, however on a weekend when it was busy, we did have to wait and when we did finally get in the shower was freezing, so ended up taking the boys in the main showers, which seem to be too hot for little ones. Still a site we will definately go back to!

Shop well stocked, fab meal at the pub next door Scalby Manor, well worth a visit, great walks for the dog, over the road and field straight onto a very steep drop to the beach for the more athletic of course. Tesco essentials 10 mins by car, 20 min walk to Sea Life Centre either by cliff top walk (mind the steep rickety steps on the way down)or follow the sign around the road side. the large site is provided with "satellite"toilet/shower units. However the unit near our unit had only 2 shower cubicles,1 urinal,3 wc`s.This was totally inadequate for the number of people on site at the time. The shower was poor design allowing waste water to enter the next cubicle through the gap at floor level, the drain levels seemed incorrect, also there appeared no temp. control for the often "hot" shower.outside the w.c. disposal site was positioned next to the washing up area, drinking water/waste water and rubbish bins, the only seperation between washing up and wc disposal was latted open wood with thick plastic screen. The smell around the area was not very pleasant!

It is the third year of visiting this site and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My only complaint is that the WiFi is extremely limited.
'The quote from the brochure states:
100% coverage cannot be guaranteed due to rural location, weather conditions and changing flora or fauna. These can cause variable signal strength. Hotspots are available'
However, you will never get 100% coverage whilst you have only one transmitter which is sited at the reception, it has nothing to do with the changing flora and fauna. The toilet and shower facilities provide excellent places to site the transmitters. I saw many people using mobile dongles which suggests to me that there is a greater demand for internet access than the site can provide for. Also if you had more transmitters more people are likely to use the facility which would enable you to reduce the high prices you charge for internet access.

This campsite is ideally situated near Scarborough, Fily and Whitby just a short walk to the coastal path and about 20 minutes approx. across the cliff walk to the sealife centre and north bay scarborough, there is a local pub on the edge of the campsite which sells really good meals. The campsite itself is excellent, very clean quiet and has a good take away. Most of all I would like to commend the staff on their friendly helpful attitude nothing is too much trouble it is the best campsite we have stayed on by far, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and hopefully will stay on it again very soon.

The site was easy to find using the map in the Camping and Caravaning book. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly and pleasant manner, and shown to our pitch by men on bicycles!! Our stay was peaceful and we enjoyed a trip in to Scarborough which was only a five minute drive away. The site is also very close to the sea, we didn't realise just how close until the wind traveled across the field and hit our tent. We were suprised that our tent was still standing at the end of the weekend but at least we know its a good one!

Quite a big site but we never felt overlooked or crowded. Facilities were lovely and clean and the kids play area looked sturdy and safe. The site is really dog friendly with an on-site dog walk, and a coastal walk within about 50 meters of the main reception. The beach is about 2 miles away but easily reached on foot or by car. The cliffs are quite high and probably best avoided by those who are scared of heights. Will definately return here. Well done for keeping such a nice site.

Had a wonderful stay, site was brilliant had a pitch that was close to the shower block, was quiet in the evenings and our son wasn't woken up once, was some noice from the road next to camp but nothing drastic. We enjoyed it so much we stayed extra 2 nights, we didn't want to come home.

Brilliant site that is if you dont mind having kids about, At times the kids get a bit carried away enjoying themselves, pity they can't play in the alloted areas. Carvery close by is excellent and quite cheap with some decent ales.(I have no connection with the carvery).. I would go again..

This site was fantastic! The people were very welcoming, the site was not just perfectly situated but also was everything we wanted. Access was great, we were shown to our pitch which too was in excellent condition. There were 2 play areas for the kids which were also good enough. The Chip Shop on site did much more than Chips with home cooked food for sale, the ladies running it were also very pleasant. There was a lovely cliff top walk within easy reach of the site which was a short walk down into the North Bay.
We loved it and will certainly return.

Very well run site with excellent, clean facilities. Especially good for children with plenty of room to play and ride bikes with 2 well equiped play areas.
Coastal walks/beaches and traffic free bike rides are excellent once you have negotiated a mile or so of a very busy road. (although you can cycle/walk the footpath).

While i enjoyed my holiday i was taken really seriously ill while on holiday. I would like to thank all staff for the amazing help i got while in hospital and recovering after. They did everything imaginable to help me and my husband and even allowed to stay an extra day while i was recovering which was amazing. I would definately recommend this site to everyone has it's probably the best site i ever stayed at. Once again thanks to all the staff for being so helpful.

We have just spent four nights here. Everything just right, including the weather.
Staff very helpful we had a most enjoyable stay, very close to miles of walking along the Cleveland Way, which is tough walking to Ravenscar/Robin Hoods Bay, not for the unfit. Great part of the world.

Nice large site with plenty of room. We had a nice pitch up the hill from the playground as we had two kids with us. The playground is pretty basic for such a large site so there’s my negative and I do think they could consider improving that.
The highlight is the sites location with a lovely hill top walk (about 15 mins) to the beach and centre of Scarborough where we spent the day when we had reasonable weather. We also visited the Sealife Centre on the way back to the site which the kids loved.
There were plenty of toilet facilities and we were lucky with the pitch we were on that we were pretty close but far enough away to the wash up sinks etc although the site has plenty. Always clean and looks well kept.
We only stayed for a short visit so didn’t take in too much to be fair so cannot give many positives or negatives but we do plan to return. Wasn’t keen on the lady who checked us in, a bit snappy but I think she was under pressure, maybe we would get a better reception next time. We did enjoy our stay and will definitely return.

Beautiful site, staff very friendly and helpful, the facilities were always clean and tidy. The only problem was that we were pitched on one of the more sloping pitches but as we were camping in a tent we quickly got used to it. Would recommend site.

We have toured for many years in both caravans and motorhomes, and we return to Scarborough regularly, two or three time a year. It is by far, the best site in Britain on the best coastline - as far as we are concerned - the only problem is, it doesnt open all year!! Lots to do in the area for everyone. A quiet, busy but very well run site ideal for older bods like us, but great for families and dogs too!

Lovely site, ideal for pub next door and walking into scarborough. However we didn't like the 'grassed hardstanding' -it became muddy very easily and that's not what we wanted from a hardstanding pitch.

This was our second visit to this site. We arrived at a very busy time, but the staff were very efficient, and our wait was kept to a minimum. The cafe/chip shop staff were also very friendly.
Good walks from the site to the cliff top walks, and the dog walking field is one of the best we have experienced. I think you should publicise the presence of the excellent pub next door, one of the Crown Carvery chain.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the facilities were very clean, there were baby/toddler and parent rooms at each of the toilet/shower blocks which I thought was excellent with having a 19 month old little boy.
Great to have a chip shop on site (really friendly staff in there too. Definitely will be coming back but for a longer stay.
