Friendly and efficient staff. Toilet block getting on a bit but clean and basically OK. Excellent for dogs, great walks all around. Good pubs and eateries in the local area. Secluded and close to nature, but not far from civilisation either.
The site slopes a bit more than the online pictures tend to show, but despite this it gets very muddy when it rains (as it did when we were there!) It could really do with more roadways and some hard standings.

A very friendly welcome from the new managers , we chose a reasonably level pitch at the bottom end of the site. It was an uphill walk to the shower block but we were fine with it.The facilities were fine, clean and the water was hot, shame about the outside air temperature ! A lovely site for walking and our dogs really enjoyed the walks in the woods a minute across the lane ~ excellent. We live 20 mins from this site but had never been to the area, but once pitched up we could have been anywhere it was so peaceful and relaxing. Slight noise from Brands hatch race track in the distance but it wasnt enough to bother us. Will be going back again for another long weekend soon we hope.

We arrived at the site and were greeted by friendly staff who, after checking us in,escorted us to our pitch. We had booked a jumbo grass pitch with hookup. Unlucky for us,the jumbo pitches are at the bottom of the site and the site is on a steep slope. It's a lovely quite area but the steepness of the site made it tough going for me as I am getting over a stay in hospital. Being at the lowest part of the site it meant that we had an uphill trek for the water tap and bins toilets and showers reception/shop.
It would have been nice if the shop had been open longer instead of an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon.

Have visited a few club sites this year and for location this was very good. attractive secluded site. However most of it is on quite a slope, all grass pitches and it's a shame that a third of the site was unusable due to the severity of the slope. The insertion of a road across the slope forming a loop with the existing road would enable 7 or 8 hardstanding pitches which would be an improvement. That would also mean less churning of the grass areas when wet. Facilities were a bit of a hike from the bottom of the hill to the top which wasn't all that convenient for my wife who has an arthritic knee. The facilities, although kept clean, had a semi open roof which meant that all manner of insects including mosquitoes and moths and other assorted flies adorned the walls in the shower and toilet blocks. The "transparent" roof isn't transparent any more due to debris falling from the trees over the years so proper enclosed roofs would improve matters. A new block with additional showers wouldn't go amiss at the lower end of the site. Overall though a lovely location and pleasant hosts.

We thoroughly enjoyed stay at the site, which extended to almost 6 weeks.
Jimmy and Brenda (and Tracey) were the best site managers you could wish for. Welcoming, helpful, friendly, willing to assist in any way we needed. We felt thoroughly at home. We wish Jimmy and Brenda every sucess next year at Gullivers, Milton Keynes.Sure it will be a great place to visit with the 2 of them in charge. they are a credit to the Club.

Although we live just a few miles from the site we chose the site to enable our daughter and family to try out caravanning for the first time. We all would like to say thank you to the marvellous stewards for being so friendly and helpful. Hope to see tham on another site next year.

We stayed at the site for four nights and had heavy rain and showers. However we still enjoyed our time and found it to be an excellent base for touring and visiting the the many National Trust properties in the area, we would recommend a visitng to Battle to view the Battle of Hatings site (English Heritage). The site staff were excellent being very helpful and friendly. Our only request would be to update the shower blocks with more showers being required.

This is my second visit to this site and as before I would highly recommend the site and its facilities. Due to its location the train journey into London is very fast. This provided very good for access to Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. It also proved useful in visiting a great many of the National Trust properties in the area. The staff are very friendly/helpful and the site is very well kept.

We would definatly recommend this site if you like to walk & have a dog. We were welcomed by Tracy who was very helpfull and a pleasure to deal with (a very funny lady !!!)The site was spotless & well maintained & there were ample blocks to level your unit & the staff were on hand to help you pitch. Tracy even took the trouble to ring us after we got home with a phone no of a company we enquired about.

We had originally booked this site for 7 days to visit family, prior to moving to another site nearer them. However after such a warm welcome and experiencing the cleanliness of the facilities and the friendliness of Jim, Brenda and Tracey, we decided to cancel our booking elsewhere and chose to extend our stay there for 28 days. We have enjoyed it so much that we have actually booked to return in 7 days after our stay in Normans Bay over the next week. This is probably one of the best sites we have stayed on and is due to the staff. The surrounding area has too many interesting places to list so don't miss a visit to this site.
Our only comment would be another shower for males and females would be advantageous.

Beautiful site close to London (train Sevenoaks. Well maintained, friendly and service oriented staff. Another shower would help in crowded periods.
Because of narrow road access use crossing of Styants Bottom Seal and A25 in SATNAV, there site is signed out.

We booked on here at the last minute, heading back to London to see family, on the way back to Scotland. The staff were very friendly and helpful but not in an intrusive way. The facilities were excellent and very clean. Although near the M25, it was peaceful and surrounded by woodland. We would have stayed longer if time had permitted. There were obviously plenty of very interesting places to visit. We have noted it as a convenient 'resting' place when visiting London family! Just one word of caution - much of the site is sloping, but there are some level pitches.

I am writing this review whilst still here at Oldbury Hill. We have been looking for a "bolt hole" for a while, somewhere within a 30-60 min drive from home and I think we have found it!
The site is idyllic,a (sloping) field surrounded by forest. Very quiet. The play area is adequate for our 2yr old...2 swings (1 baby/1 child) and a climbing frame leading upto a slide.from the top of the site you can see the whole site and your children!
The toilet block is cold but clean and the showers are hot. At first I thought that the facilities would be too busy, but on our stay there was rarely anybody else using the facilities at the same time as myself.
The wardens are fantastic, helpful and friendly. I made a (major) mistake when booking and didn't book for electric hook up...the website then showed that the electric pitches were taken. PANIC...but a quick call to the site, and a pitch was found for us.
After a previous experience I had all but given up on the CACC but this site has restored my faith and therefore I will renew my membership!!!

A beautiful site set amongst a forest and very peaceful despite the M25 not being too far away. We were greeted with a very friendly welcome on arrival. Once directed to our pitch, we were left alone to enjoy our stay although we knew the Club staff were available to help, should we need it. The site is quite sloping which makes for an interesting night's sleep on an inflatable mattress! The facilities were spotless. Our only very small negative comment would be that the showers and toilets were rather cold as they are not completely sealed or heated. That said, the showers themselves were very warm and the facilities were spotless. The proximity of the nearby forest is lovely for a walk. All in all, I site we would highly recommend.

We are a family of 5 with 3 children under 7 years old. We were given a pitch at the top of the campsite near the swings and toilet/shower block which was perfect.
The toilets/washing area/showers were very clean with plenty of piping hot water at all times of the day.
The site is a perfect size for families as you can see across the whole campsite. Our 3 kids wandered around the site all day long with groups of other children. It was an enclosed clearing in the middle of a wood and was very safe.
The site was very quiet, by 10pm most people were tucked up in bed. We sat watching bats in the evening! The only noise to wake you is the very loud dawn chorus of birdsong!
A very relaxing and calm week long holiday.

We have just returned home from a 3 night visit to this lovely site.
It is incredibly peaceful (except for the amazing dawn chorus) and surrounded by beautiful ancient woodland (National Trust owned) which our two dogs made the most of, they really were in their element. It has a basic but adequate children's play area which suited our two girls (aged 3 and 11).
The site itself is wonderfully well kept and we have never been so well looked after by site staff. They came out to help level our van armed with chocks and a spirit level and had us level on what is a fairly sloping site within 5 minutes.
The site itself is great but the wardens made our stay fantastic (despite our dogs barking at theirs) even arriving with an emergency bottle of wine and beer after our late and somewhat stressed arrival. (Thank you Tracey).
The facilities are spotlessly clean and more than adequate with two showers for the ladies and one for the gents. Although ensure you are early for your morning shower as the hot water runs out really quickly.
There is a good pub (Crown Point) a leisurely 15 minute walk away and they do a good, reasonably priced Sunday carvery. It is child friendly and dogs are allowed in the lounge area.
We look forward to our next visit.

Jim and Brenda (the new managers) made us most welcome. The site is lovely and the facilities kept immaculately clean. We were so impressed that we immediately booked for the Spring break in May. Highly recommend this site, beautiful countryside and lovely walks with or without dogs. My children (15 & 18) really enjoyed the stay. Jim and Brenda could not have done more for us, so helpful...10/10!

We only spent a couple of nights here as a quick break from hectic London. We really loved this site and will definitely return. The owners gave us a very warm welcome (even though we are a couple on two motorcycles!) The site is surrounded by trees and is uncluttered and spacious and the most memorable thing was the peace and quiet and the birdsong in the mornings which was quite magical (although very close to the M26 there was NO sound of traffic whatsoever!) The washrooms were clean and tidy and more than adequate (and tucked away from campers so no noisy washer-uppers for other campers as is the case on many other sites!) The on-site shop provided anything you wanted in a hurry. We give this site 5 out of 5.

Site is on a steep slope with flat areas at the bottom. Caravans and Motorhomes are leveled up by blocks but if you are camping you need to make sure you are on a flat section or you will fall out of bed.
