    Keswick

Our campsite on the shore of Derwentwater is the most popular in our network for good reasons. The views across the lake are glorious and the site makes a perfect base for a walking, cycling or more relaxing holiday in the heart of Cumbria and the Lake District National Park. You may even spot a red squirrel or otter on site.

Important information up to June 2012: Please note that the Environment Agency is busy building a new Flood Defence wall in Keswick, Crosthwaite Road (this is the road from A66 roundabout , leading to the High Street), this road will be closed.
The alternative recommended route is to carry on the A66 to just before Portinscale turn off , take the B5289 High Hill, and turn right into Crow Park Road. For further details see: the Environment Agency website
