What a gem!
We wouldn't normally have been looking to stay in that area but were going to see our County Team play at Twickenham (they lost!) and wanted to camp close by for a couple of nights. We discovered a wonderful site and are now looking for an excuse to revisit - maybe next time with the caravan for a longer stay.
As the centenary celebrations were ongoing, our son enjoyed the lollipop hunt on the Sunday. We missed other two events as we were out but also enjoyed our evening walks in the area, playing a slow version of Poohsticks on the bridge and watching the parakeets swooping over the River.
We've already been recommending the site to others.

Very friendly welcome and shown to our pitch. Lovely quiet site, although near to town, great place to relax and de-stress.
Will use this site again.

Excellent site and location. Staff were very friendly and most welcoming. Really spacious and well laid out site. We stayed Spring Bank Holiday weekend and were told by other regular campers that they had never seen the site as busy but there was still lots of space between vans and plenty of open areas around the site.
Site is close London but still very Rural so you get the best of both worlds. Some reviewers complained about noise of Planes from Heathrow but we did not find this a problem. If anything the local birds were noisier! The dog walk was the best we have seen on a site. And for dog owners there is a large open area beside the site which is accessible right outside the main entrance where you can let your dog run free. Beautiful countryside and river/lake nearby.
Will definitely be returning soon.

we stumbled on this site at a short notice break, only an hour away from home , we were more than pleased, just what the doctor ordered! peaceful , clean and friendly, a real little gem! there has been new buildings and driveways, but you do need your own toilet and showers, i think if these were added to the site, it would spoil it. near the river, dog walks, town and river thames only a few minutes drive away. well done Anne and co . Thank you !!

We will be staying for the third year running. The managers are helpful and the site is clean. Facilities are minimal but you know that before you book. We use it as a stopping site for London. Trains are not far and there is a lovely cafe near the trainstation. If you don't mind a longer walk, Hampton Court is an hour away. The bus-stop to Hampton Court and other places is only 5-10 minutes walk away. You could not stay anywhere in London for cheaper.

Found the lane quite tight to tow down but well worth the trouble once being met by a very friendly man who went out of his way with our welcome. Chose my own pitch and once personally shown there all aspects of water and cdp including dog walk and information was explained. So impressed with clean well kept site am looking forward to returning. On a personal note would like to thank the site assistant for the constant laughs and all his help.

My husband and i stayed here for two nights too be close to a specialist vet. We simply booked the site as it was in travelling distance to where we needed to go. We new nothing of the site before we arrived. On Arrival we were very pleasently suprised, the entrance was very good and secure. The welcome was very friendly and so helpful. we were allowed to choose our own pitch which we like. Although there is pitch space for 115 you would never Know it, very well spaced out fields. Very quiet, friendly people. Extremely well laid out, and although there is no toilet or showers areas, the facilites that are there were clean and tidy and easy to access i.e water point rubbish and dog pooh bins. The reception area can only be discribed as very sweet and so pretty. We didn't really explore the surrounding area, but would definately stay here again, all round nice basic site. Does what it says on the tin so to speak!! My dog's also enjoyed the dog walk, which was well maintained, with hardly any dog pooh not picked up. Something you don't normally get sadly, overall very happy.....

Excellent long weekend break, would go again. I chose this site as it has easy access for sight seeing in London. close to two train stations. one a brisk 15 minuet walk (Hersham) with no where to leave a car for the day. (Esher station) a cross country walk or 10 min car drive. A large car park, a £6. fee, to leave a car there all day. With a train line directly into Waterloo train station. The air show in the evening was spectacular from the parakeet's, I was prepared for some noise from air crafts but didn't notice anything that was unacceptable. My children found the air-crafts very entertaining. Also very easy access on the M25 to Lego land.

This site was just what i needed.Met by a very happy chappy who asked what sort of pitch we would like and the p
cheerfully showed us to a suitable pitch and gave very clear directions for the water points, grey water,CDP etc.A well kept site with short grass that didnt get all over the van.The dog walk was 5 star.We were treated to the aerobatic antics of the parakeets on site, fascinating to watch!Access is via a narrow single track road but keep to the AM depart and PM ariival times and there shouldnt be any problems.Aircraft noise is obvious withe a site next door to an airport but this faded with the night and really didnt cause any annoyance. We have already decided to revisit next year.

After reading the previous reviews we were expecting miserable wardens and lots of aircrft noise, so were pleasantly surprised to find friendly faces and yes definitely aircraft noise, but after a day it didnt even register. We went there so our son and grandaughter could visit with their tent and this worked out very well. We had a lovely walk along the river and there was a small playgound for her to meet some other children. It was too hot this weekend to visit Hampton Court, so will have to have a return visit! Many thanks to the wardens.

I found this a delightful site set in a lovely slecuded park. The walks available just outside the gates were lovely and even had the odd seat or two to while away the time. There is even a flock of parakeets to spot, if you sit still long enough. The site is flat and easy to get about when towing on and off. I will definately go again as it is so close to attractions in and around London and there is a train station not too far away. I like watching aircraft so the Healthrow traffic didn't bother me and its quiet at night.
However the only thing that spoilt the visit was the unfriendliness of the stewards. It seemed as if I was not welcome when all I needed was somewhere to pitch my caravan. I didn't even need electric. I hope they are not there next time I go.

Despite the claims for a peaceful site I left early due to the constant drone/whine of aircraft overhead approaching Heathrow airport.
The problems with this site was made worse by the only waste water facility being almost blocked and taking hours for water to drain away, causing a very unpleasant smell. The Holiday manager told me that the problem had been reported to the sites department but no action would be taken this season.
Please also be aware that if you visit this site with a motor home there are did not appear to be any way you can drain the grey water tank directly.
On the plus side the dog walk was very good.

Amazing countryside enclave in a built up area a stone's throw from London. Hampton Court is an easy cycle away. Water all around, we were expecting aircraft noise but it was not a problem. Big open spaces and a good lounge room which we didn't use but could be useful in a hurricane. We'll definitely be back!

Entry to quite a large quiet site is by a narrow lane with no passing places thus arrival (pm) and departure (am) control times of entry and exit. A 15 minute walk to bus stops giving access to the Thames and Hampton Court. Riverside walks and bicycle tracks from site.
