We had a lovely family holiday here. Our small children loved the animal and the adults did too. The staff were very helpful and knowledgable. The site cafe served basic hot food at reasonable prices. We had our own access to the park and we loved sneaking in before everyone else arrived. The Owls kept us entertained at night with their conversations from their enclosure. Its good to know our camping fees will go to looking after thse animalsWe will definatley be back again next year.

We went on weekend break with our 4 and 14 year old. Both spent their entire days on the wildlife centre enjoying activities... walking goats, walking ferrets and stroking hedgehogs to name but a few. Wonderful site and views and but also close to Newton Abbott. A little gem of a site with very friendly hosts. We will be back regularly.

This was an excellent site my daughter took part in all the activities. She help feed lambs walk the goats and brush the donkeys. The stay was friendly and there was even a nice little cafe and shop.

Wonderful site, so very friendly, we would have liked to have stayed longer , there is so much to do and see in the area. The views from the site are glourious and the added bonus of the wildlife centre made it a very pleasant stay. We hope that it is a great success for you and the wildlife. We will be back.

In 40 years of camping/caravanning this must be the most welcoming site we have stayed on. Steph and her family and staff deserve to succeed with the site which opened last year to help to provide funds for the wildlife centre.
The site can accommodate 5 caravans and possibly the same number of tents. It is on a hillside and the pitches are terraced and therefore level. The views are to die for.
The pitch fee includes unlimited visits into the wildlife centre during opening hours and the devotion to the welfare of the animals is evident in all the staff(who are mostly volunteers). The amenities block is in the park and the site has it's own gate for access any time.
There is plenty to do in the area with Torbay and Dartmoor both within easy driving distance and good shopping in Newton Abbot.
This is one site we plan to return to and would recommend anyone to visit.

Had a most wonderful weekend and did not want to leave. We were given the best welcome on arrival and were then left to treat the whole place like our second home. My six year old loved the animals and freedom as its very child friendly. we loved the peace and wonderful views. We cant wait to go back.

This was possibly one of the best sites we have stayed on in our years of caravaning. Steve and Steph the owners of the site treated us more like family than customers. The site is well layed out and the views and sunsets in the evening are just amazing. There is plenty to do on the site at the wildlife centre with a very nice restaurant in the grounds. The position of the site is central to most attractions, in 15 mins. you can be on the moors climbing the tors and stroking horses and donkeys or down on the beach riding donkeys and eating icecream (which is the best we had by the way) and the town is only 10 mins. away. Would go back again next year. Thanks again Steve and Steph for a lovely stay.

Access was a little difficult as the road is quite narrow and winding, on site we had to go up a small hill which is shale but this is to be changed to tarmac which will be 100% better, we were the first to stay there but our welcome from Stephanie and all the staff at the centre was really top class with complimentary tickets into the centre and a Devon cream tea in the centre cafe to die for.
There is plenty of Devon to see none to far away to spoil your day driving all the time or just enjoy the peace and quiet at the site, take in the beautiful views and relax, we will certainly go again.
