We chose this site due to its reviews.. with three hours notice.. for one night.. as an early season van and kit test..
31 march.. very cold and bleak weather.. the site was pretty empty.
This gave us the opportunity to see what we have missed.
Its a great site with some lovely attention to detail. A snug with fridge freezers, books for loan and comy chairs. The cleanest and mosy spacious toilets and showers we have evet experienced at a cs site. There is a communal fire pit ... barbecues .. a childrens play area and a really nice owner. Its very well kept and being on a slope well drained. Rabbits and pheasant roam and you are surrounded by woods. There is a footpath to a nearby lake and all in all .. we loved it ... we will be back!

We have just returned from a fantastic week at Cedar Gables. Lovely friendly owners, nothing is too much trouble. The children loved the play area and the toilets/showers were the cleanest & best equipped I've even seen on a CS site. The lending library in the snug was really appreciated by my older children who spent most of their time with their heads stuck in various books!! The site is sloping so take chocks/blocks to level caravans, although there are some to borrow. We will definately be back.

I'd booked this site not knowing it was part of this club and found out towards the end of our stay. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The toilet/shower blocks are the best I have used so far. It has a children's play area and a lounge area with power points and a fridge/freezer. This is a lovely small site within walking distance to Bewl Water via a footpath from the site. There is loads to do in the area. I know other reviews have mentioned the noise from the road as this is the busy A21 but to be honest although I could hear it - I found that after the 1st night I didn't really notice it again. The site owners also have BBQs of different sizes for use. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family and would do again!

I have stayed on many CS sites, this was by far the cleanest and friendliest. The facilities were amazing. Fridge/freezer, electric kettle, excellent showers and toilets, shaver points, hairdryers, etc.etc. Lovely location, footpath to Bewl Water, amazing walking and cycling. NT properties abound. Pretty local villages. Will certainly visit again especialy as site owners persauded me to become a member.
