What a surprise !
We had a superb stay at this quiet and secluded site. The farm walk is a must - its only a mile but you see bison, wapiti, goats, donkies and a host of smaller farmyard animals. We had a really warm welcome, and although the shower/toilets block is a bit basic, we will definitely be back with our grandchildren.

An unusual site to describe & review... The camping is in woodland clearings and the washing facilities are basic. There are showers but at £2 maybe a bit expensive. But where else can you catch a glimpse through the trees of... bison? !The site is part of a farm rearing bison and elk and, for half the usual admission price, you can tour the farm and take in these, together with racoons, prairie dogs, rheas, & guanacos (nope never heard of them before either). Altogether - friendly, unusual and interesting.

I can't believe there isn't a review on this site fabulous and friendly welcome site, we were not blessed with great weather for the first 2 days but glorious sunshine the day we left which is aways the way! very friendly site which has a small grass field next to their working farm stunning views of the bison and other animals deer, goats, sheep etc across the field, we had a nice secluded pitch and were the only ones in this particular part though I think the farm has other pitches in the woodland area the walk around the farm was a must! not disapointing my young daughter was in awe of the billy goats and rhea, there are raccoons even a skunk and lots more a must visit site! only a short drive from longleat zoo as well shall return
