Having just returned from our first weekend in our caravan, We thought we would leave a few comments about this site, The owners/ management are very friendly and accommodating and could not do anymore to male us feel welcome. The site is great for access to numerous walks which the owner recommended.
We will come back and stay but hope in time the owners will invest in better / more shower facilities

Very handy for Windsor and surrounding area, but site quite basic, for £20 a night (£25 if not a member), would expect a bit better standard. Owners have some dogs and 1 was around our van wandering free, but we were asked to keep our dog on a lead! Main road busy and difficult to cross if on foot.

We stayed here for a few nights whilst visiting the theme parks in the area. Firstly, I fully agree with all comments that the owners were very friendly. This is right - they must be the most accommodating owners I've ever met and there was a night atmosphere on the site too. However, the site was very busy whilst we were there and the facilities were creaking at the seams. It's a goods container converted in to 3 toilets and 2 showers with a very basic set up. There were loads of tenters whilst we were there so there was a lot of pressure on the facilities. Also, the road was very busy and woke us early in the morning - this could well have been down to Olympics traffic though as there were some events very near by. This place is ideal for Legoland and the Windsor area is nice and there are a few nice places around too and family pubs but it's ideal if you don't intend to spend much time on the site as it's not picturesque and the facilities are basic. To be honest, the club sites are about the same cost and I would try and get on there in the future as I prefer a more relaxing, leafy environment where possible.

A good basic site with charming and helpful owners. All pitchs have electric hook up. Some upgrading needed but has immense potential. Very accessible.
Due to extreme rainy weather site has some soft patches.

The site is great for me and my dogs. A good base for visiting Windsor, Ascot, etc.
Facilities are basic, no loo roll most days. One shower is ok. Would be more of a problem if site was full or had lots of families. For the area it is secluded and considering the nearness of a road is pretty secluded and not noisy. Safe for children.
The owners are friendly and anxious to help and get feedback. I wish them well and will be visiting again for my family occasions as I can take my dogs.

We stayed here at end of April for weekend and just came back from another long weekend (end of May). The site is very basic but being improved. We chose it as a base for getting to Twickenham for rugby and it's ideal as it's an easy train ride from Windsor Riverside Station.
It is an £8 taxi ride to the station. It is easy to find off the main Maidenhead to Windsor Road. It is right next to a fuel station which has a small Costcutter for provisions, a Tesco is a 5 minute drive away.
The owners are friendly, on our first stay the weather was awful and the site very wet but Ricky came out to make sure we got out ok.
We will be back again in September.
