Very peaceful site in the countryside. On a working farm (so wellies strongly advised!) Good location for access to Brecons, Abbergavenny and Hereford. Friendly welcome in cafe with good quality sausages and excellent ice cream. Minor quibble - hot water almost too hot (if one could possibly complain about that) so showers at fixed temperature - ooch! Facilities though pretty good. All in all an excellent, clean and friendly site.

This is a really great site, especially for families. We arrived after some rain and had difficulties getting to the pitch because the ground is sloping but the farmer was straight out to hitch us to his 4x4 and put it in position for us. There is a cafe, small play area and a nature trail on site and the field is large so there is plenty of room for kids to run around. Great cycling in the area (with a few big hills!). Facilities new and immaculate. The only improvement (hope the owners read this) is please could you put some hangers on the wall in the shower area for people using the sinks to hang towels on? That would make it perfect!

Our first stay at a certificated site - what a site to choose! Amazing views over the countryside; good shower/toilet facilities; kids loved the animals and play areas and we all loved the ice cream!! Great value for money - we'll be back! :-)

Just got back from this site and the kids are already asking when we can go back
the play area is great especially the woodland adventure trail
there was only 2 showers but they were kept immaculately clean and we never had to wait
the ice cream was wonderful and we were shocked how reasonable it was priced
Mark and Mary were very friendly and helpfull and they will see us again

Nice campsite on a working farm. The play areas for children are excellent for such a small site. Not sure why this is a CS though as there were more than 5 units on site. Having said that though there were few enough there to leave big spaces for kids to run and play. The showers are clean and adequate. The ice cream on site is lovely.
The site is trying very hard to be as green as possible so be warned, you will need to separate out your rubbish onsite. Anything that can't be recycled you have to take of site with you when you leave.
I'd recommend this site.

Great site based on a farm, Some sloping pitches and all the EHU's are at the top of a slope which can be tricky.
Toilets and Showers are shared but good washing up adequate facilities.
Large childrens playground plus adventure playground in woods, Ice Cream made and sold on site also lovely walks around the large farm.
No shops or pub within walking distance. But both are a short drive away.
Ideal for access to the Black Mountains we would highly recommend this site for those that like quiet family camping.

What a place! Amazing ice cream parlour and coffee shop, proper long dog walks and an on-site play area.
Made even better by following the dog walk through the woods to discover a huge adventure playground for older kids - magic.
