We have just had a week here & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owners were very welcoming & friendly. They couldn`t be more accommodating.
The site is small & very sheltered but with a small number of pitches there is plenty of room to spread out & gazebos etc are allowed, very relaxed.
There is a picnic bench & fire pit for each pitch which was a lovely touch.
The toilets & showers were situated in a wooden shed nearby, this also had a washing up sink, washing machine & fridge. There was hot water all the time & the shelf in the fridge was a brilliant extra, we`ve never had this whilst camping & it meant we could eat differently & have cold wine & beer!
The facilities were always clean & tidy.Cleaned beautifully & regularly. The only slight complaint in this area was the lack of soundproofing, you could hear what other people were doing whilst in the shower or loo, not for the shy! A radio/some music would be a good addition to help block out anything you didn`t want to share with the other campers!
There`s loads to do & as a family with two teenagers we had a boat trip, went to a waterpark, luckily the pembrokeshire agricultural show was on whilst we were there so we did that & the highlight for two of our party was coasteering in St. David. (not for the chickens!)Beaches & surrounding area for walking or watersports are perfect.
If you like small & quiet (depending on your neighbours!) this is an ideal site. We would definatley recommend it.
