Nice site. Lovely and secluded. Pleasant views. We chose this site as it was near our daughter and son in law and close to were we have the caravan serviced. We stayed Friday and Saturday in early March - well into the British rainy season and as a result the ground was very soft underfoot. However the hardstanding and access roads were very well constructed and we had no problem setting up.The access road was also quite muddy which was a hassle when entering and leaving site as there are two gates to open (and close) when entering and leaving site. The Red Hart pub mentioned in directions to this site is very well worth a visit - some of the best food ever tasted. Check out their website and visit. We like to sleep late on a morning (even with our 8 week old grandson staying with us) and were a little put out at being wakened by the owners at 10:00am to pay the site fees. We had tried to pay on arrival. We had also asked for a late departure. Next time (and yes we will definately return) we will pay our site fees on the Saturday.

A really lovely, peaceful, rural site, very secluded. No close local amenities but that suited me fine. It reminded me of a rural French site of the late 70's with it's lines of poplars and conifers. I will definitely return and hope this site continues to keep it's charm and character by remaining small. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Thank you.
