An excellent site in lovely location, especially if you want a quiet clean location. The owner did his best to make our stay one to remember. It was nice to see the wildlife on site the first night we watched a barn owl flying in the camping field , then the following evening we were visited by two deers in the field over the week we had pheasants, moorhen chicks and an heron ( attracted by the well stocked fishing pool). We will definitely be putting this site on our must return to list.

Being first in, I was welcomed by a very friendly owner.
The toilets, water, waste and refuse facilities are very good, but obviously it is still a work in progress. There were only 4 electric hookups, but the pitches are pleasantly laid out and maintained, amd more are in the pipeline.
We booked there because of the Hilgay Raft Races, which is an annual event that I can remember from 30 years past. Even though the weather was alternately downpours and bright sunshine, it was a very enjoyable day out.
