I stayed at the campsite for two nights at end of Feb 2013. The owners were very friendly and great to have a chat to, I even got to see the beautiful horses. The site was small and peaceful just what I needed and the pitch was lovely, level and very dry for the time of year as they have good drainage. There is a loo, a nice shower and cold water point/chemical disposal point which were all clean. The walks in the area were great for me and bella (my working lab) who loved it. The views are great too as good as can be seen anywhere. I had two peaceful nights sleep you can hear a few dogs barking at times but they are farm dogs and didn't bother me, overall a lovely relaxing weekend. I was made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend the site and will be returning myself in the not to far future. Thank you very much for having me .

Great views across the valley, with plenty of walks all around, including to the local pub across the fields. The site has a newly fitted shower and toilet which was a nice surprise. Brilliant and friendly owners with lots of local knowledge. Dog friendly, and they even offer stabling for horses should you want to bring them too! Highly recomended though I also advise following the listed directions to avoid narrow lanes and bridges.

You couldn't find anyone more welcoming and helpful as the owners of this site. Nothing was too much trouble. Just wonderful.
The site is superbly situated with views over the rolling South Leicestershire countryside. With fields of horses, cows and sheep and visiting ducks it's just paradise. Very peaceful.
On arrival we only intended staying for a few days...we actually stayed for two weeks! Need we say more?

this is a new certified site, a paddock with lush green grass, well drained. The owners, Wendy and Maurice, are welcoming, friendly and eager to help in any way. It ticked all my boxes and I would use this site again happily.
