If the instructiosn on getting onto the site [down a brideway]is likely to put you off, it was a hard path and very acceptable!
The views are fantastic and the grass lush.
You could walk or cycle a different route everyday for a holiday and not walk the same route there are so many.
"Go Ape" is a short walk away for those how want to practice their highwire skills.
A shed on the field had local tourist attractions details plus Pat's own made jams, sauces and crumbles and a fridge with produce from the local butcher - just place your money in the honesty box!
Its a perfect location for a getaway, we will certainly be coming back.

We have just spent a wonderful weekend at Forest View. The site is in a fantastic location within Cannock Chase, on arrival we were met by Pat who was really friendly. The whole weekend was extremely relaxing this really is a gem of a site, with really friendly owners. Many thanks Pat, we will be back.

Shush! Tell no one.
This is a little paradise. Visited 1st time for a 4 day break in December'11. Was greeted by owner, Pat, with the offer of "Do you want me to make you a fruit pie?" Yes we did. Delicious. This site was all we could have hoped for and much more. We'll be back very soon. Friendly, helpful people. Beautiful views, stunning skies.

This was our first visit to this site. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. What lovely people. The site cabin has home made jams, puddings, plus bacon etc for sale - the "honesty box" is a reflection of these good people.
The site is peaceful being set in the midst of Cannock Chase. The numerous rough gravel tracks are ideal for walking and mountain biking. Our dog was in her element.
We had a really peaceful long weekend.
We will definitely visit again.

I would recommend this little hideaway as a haven for wildlife and peace and tranquility. Set in the heart of the chase with the deer passing through at teatime!
If you are lucky enough to stay there be sure to look out for the peacocks and try the home made cakes im sure you wont be disapointed.
