Originally booked in for 3 nights but site was more suitable for contractors, in fact I thought I had come across a travellers site. The owner was very helpful but had no price structure she wanted about £50 pounds for 3 nights but after a haggle accepted £40 as I told her I had stayed on much better sites for £10 a night I can not comment on the toilet and shower facility’s as I use my own in the Motorhome. There is a lane that passes through the site although it is on the side, there was a gate but it was badly in need of repair and made the site very vulnerable. I did not feel I could leave the van there to visit my daughter in Manchester, so decided to find a better and more secure site the next morning. Credit to the owner she gave me a refund of £20 still very expensive for one night but considered myself lucky that I had some refund. I feel that with some improvements and better security it has the potential to become a nice site.
