We are planning on a return visit.

For anyone who likes to be off the beaten track and is happy to get back to basics this site is pure perfection. I've given 5 stars to facilities as, even though they are the minimum - water & CDP - they are new and clean. Everyone connected with the farm is very friendly, and even some of the lambs trotted over to say hello!
Most of the ground is fairly uneven so chocks will probably be needed, but what's a bit of a hill when you can walk out of your unit and see red kites, skylarks & more hares than you can shake the proverbial stick at!
The only 'downside' that we experienced (not much of a problem for us though) is that the farm track continues through to a couple more farms and a fishing centre, so expect vehicles throughout the day & evening. So keep an eye on children. And the Saturday we were there saw processions of walkers passing through the site on the bridleway.
Transport will be needed to access most local places, but a pleasant 20min stroll, along said bridleway, past the golf course brings you out at Spofforth Castle; the village also boasts at least 1 general shop & 2 pubs - & a bus-stop!

Pituresque secluded site handy for Wetherby, Harrogate Knaresborough & surrounding Villages.Pleasant walks direct from site, plenty of wildlife Kites, Hares Deer. Suggest you walk to Spofforth & use Bus service from there.
Basic facilities (own sanitation essential) but all newly installed & clean. Access road a little uneven but wouldn't have thought it would be a problem if care is taken.Chocks required as most Pitches are on a slight slope.
Owner was very helpful & friendly.
