This is an absolutely delightful site. The shower blocks are brilliant, with separate little shower/wc and basin units, perfect for families with young children. These were also spotlessly clean and warm (we were there over a freezing weekend.)The owners are friendly and helpful and the whole area is beautiful. We will certainly be back.

The newly laid site is not as shown on the photo, there are now about 11 hardstanding pitches as well as grass.
Very convenient for M6 and Trough of Bowland. Showers are very good and the whole place is spotless. A brilliant little site that deserves to be visited.
The owners are lovely and welcoming.
Will use the site again.

have just had a superb weekend at this campsite which is now superbly updated with lots of hardstandings and a new shower and toilet block superbly clean and warm and also disabled shower and toilet beautiful pond for fishing and lots of wildlife and good walks, spoke to the farmers wife when she came to make sure we were ok and she is very friendly scorton village only a mile or so away with a pub and a few shops would definitley recommend this site so clean and peaceful.

All the caravans (SIX of them) were crammed into a field less than quarter of an acre, which is fine if you like to see what the people in the next caravan are having for breakfast.

This is a lovely site and Mrs Atkinson was most friendly upon meeting us and was also keen to offer us help as we were struggling to hitch up the caravan. It is a really peaceful site with its own lake complete with ducks and swans. Unfortunately the weather was most unkind and rained for 2 days which turned the land rather slushy. Perhaps better drainage at the bottom of the site? (not a criticism but just a suggestion!) overall a great place to stay which we would certainly go back to.

We cannot rate this site high enough. We have visited twice and have booked to go again. It is a beautiful 'Oasis'. Tranquil, peaceful but centrally located for Scorton, Preston and Lancaster. The owners are very unobtrusive and friendly. Our kids love the eggs with honesty box and the little lake is divine. My five year old was beside herself when we arrive and saw the family of ducklings. Just perfect. Mr and Mrs Atkinson, you are doing something quite special here, we just hope you carry on doing it.

This is a beautiful campsite with amazing views of the fells. Nice and quiet with plenty of room for the kids to run around. Basic but spotlessly clean facilities. Fresh eggs daily. Lovely fishing pond. In easy reach of the Trough of Bowland. We had such a great time here we went back and will definitely be there again this year!
