"Set in quiet parkland, on the edge of Nancy"
Good facilities, a British manager, a restaurant often featuring the site’s own fresh produce, a location handy for Lorraine and Nancy’s lovely historic centre – all these mean that this small and well-run site attracts both long and short stays. Nancy itself, the hub of the Art Nouveau movement, makes for a very rewarding visit, while the horse racing course is just adjacent to the site. In handsome Place Stanislas, a splendid UNESCO World Heritage Site, evenings from mid-June to mid-September present a spell-binding free sound and light show, with the Lorraine’s regional history told by images projected onto the buildings.
