What's on?
- The market towns of Chesterfield,
Sutton-in-Ashfield and Mansfield are all
within easy reach.
- The Teversal Trails Visitor Centre is a great starting point for many walks, following
former colliery railway lines.
- Hardwick Hall is owned by the National
Trust. Its amazing textile collection is
on display.
- Crich Tramway Village near Matlock is a
period village, home to the National
Tramway Museum.
- The Peak District’s oldest attraction is The Heights of Abraham. It has underground caverns, woodland paths and breathtaking views.
- Sherwood Forest has a Go Ape! high-wire forest adventure course.
- Clumber Park is excellent for walking
and cycling.
- Newstead Abbey was originally a priory and the former home of the poet Lord Byron.
- Chatsworth House is one of Britain’s best-loved stately homes. It featured in the film Pride and Prejudice.
