Stunning, beautiful Site.

What's on?
- The village of Slindon is mainly owned
by the National Trust.
- Denmans is one of several beautiful
gardens in the area. The four-acre garden
at Fontwell is based on a tamed wilderness.
- Parham Elizabethan House and formal
gardens have a deer park.
- Arundel is four miles to the east. The city has an interesting Museum and Heritage
Centre, a Wildfowl and Wetlands Nature
Reserve.
- Arundel Cathedral’s centre aisle is
carpeted with flowers for the festival of
Corpus Christi in early summer.
- Tangmere Military Aviation Museum has a
flight simulator and a record-breaking
Hawker Hunter jet.
- Around 50 historic buildings – from the
13th to 19th centuries – have been relocated to the 50-acre site at the Weald
and Downland Open Air Museum.
- Littlehampton and Bognor Regis have
lovely, safe beaches for children.
- Petworth House is a 17th century mansion set in parkland. It was immortalised by the famous painter, Turner.
- Bosham is a pretty village by a natural
harbour. Canute is reputed to have tried
to hold back the tide here.
- Our Slindon Site is designed for those
who prefer minimal facilities. Campers
who would prefer a toilet or shower block
should stay at Graffham or Chichester – a
few miles along the south coast.
- Please follow the printable location map directions to Site carefully and do not tow through the village of Slindon – it is not suitable for caravans.
